Dr. Adam Ross Befeler, MD

It has been a week since surgery and I had no idea that I would feel as good as I do. The nerve pains that were in my buttocks and legs is completely gone and I also have renewed strength to my hands and arms that I did not expect. Took one pain pill the same afternoon and started Tylenol that night through the next day and nothing since. Thank you Dr, Befler. With COVID around I will try to refrain from hugging you if I see you.

Highly compassionate doctor. He listened to my prior history of multiple surgeries. Reviewed all of my records. He spent a very long amount of time reviewing with me options for treatment both surgically and non-surgically. We ultimately collaborated and decided on the best treatment plan. I'm now able to walk without pain for the first time in 10 years. I have my life back. I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone. He is the most skilled and compassionate doctor I have seen in over 50 years.

This is the nicest doctor I have ever met. Listened to me extensively. Reviewed in detail my issues. Examined me carefully and discussed extensively options including surgical and non-surgical options. We worked together to pick out the perfect plan. Highly compassionate. This is exactly the type of doctor I would recommend to anyone. Saved my life.

This MD came recommended from St. Anthony’s ER . I was told I would see him on one day , he of course came the next afternoon , fine no problem. Complete lack of empathy, no bed side manner . Argumentative with me as the patients. Does not believe in patient Centered care , he’s the Alpha . Not sure if he treats ALL patients this way , or just his minority patients . Was told by Nursing staff at the hospital I made the right call getting away from his care . A complete narcissistic rock star. Before he walked out and left me in tears for simply NOT listening, he ended his reign with “ I’m a neurosurgeon, I don’t have to listen to this.” Sad days in healthcare when these are the “Dr. Strange” type of physicians that are in charge of making a difference. Thank God my husband was on speaker (since we can’t have visitors in the hospital. ) Even he was floored . You’re better going to a Doctor who actually has a heart as well as a brain . Good luck to all of us in pain . No one truly… understands until they have been there personally.

I was very impressed with Dr. Befeler. He reviewed my case with me in simple, easy to understand terms and that was very much appreciated! I was seen in a timely fashion and left his office feeling much better informed about my case. I highly recommend Dr. Befeler, both for his expertise, friendly manner and great communicative skills.

Dr. Befeler is a great doctor... he spends time with his patients and is very invested in their needs and concerns. He has given me hope that my pain and quality of life will improve with very minimally invasive procedures... would recommend him highly to anyone

I saw Dr. Befeler after having had several back surgeries be other doctors in two different states yet still remained in pain! He had looked at my latest scans and agreed something was going on but really did not want to open me up again because of the risks involved! He referred me to a good pain management doctor in Tampa who feels my best option in a spinal cord stimulator, which I will have implanted shortly! Other doctors would have been quick to open me up but I respect the fact that Dr. Befeler did not want to put me through it! I could not recommend him highly enough!

Very good, professional, friendly, and helpful staff. Tracy was very nice and helped me figure out how to get the answers I was looking for. Rachel did a fantastic job as well. Dr. Befeler is an amazing doctor, has great bed side manner, and is very compassionate. He takes the time to talk with and explain conditions to his patients and map out the best treatment plan. He is great, I am very thankful to have been recommended to him.

Dr Adam Befeler is an Execellent Neuro surgeon.. I was diagnosed with severe spinal stenosis and was losing the function of my left leg and in severe pain..He performed surgery on my lower back and within 3 days after surgery I was of pain Meds and able to walk again!! He is an Excellent Surgeon!!!and great person, Informative and trustworthy!!His staff is very helpful and friendly !!
