Title: Disappointing Experience: Unprofessional Behavior at the Doctor's Office Review: I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting doctor Shahem Kawji's office at Newport Beach that left me extremely dissatisfied and frustrated. The unprofessional behavior displayed by the front office staff and the doctor himself was truly disappointing. The receptionist seemed disinterested and barely acknowledged. She was not at the front when I walked in with no explanation or apology for the delay. The lack of communication and basic courtesy was concerning. The doctor's lack of empathy and understanding only added to my dissatisfaction. Instead of making me feel comfortable, this unprofessional behavior left me questioning their competency and dedication to patient care. It was evident that my well-being was not their priority. As a patient, I believe it is essential to be treated with respect and to have confidence in the medical professionals we entrust with our health.… Unfortunately, this doctor's office failed to meet even the most basic standards of professionalism and patient care. All they cared for is money. After paying $400 consultation fee I tried to ask him question about the procedure the front desk girl " Maria" refused to even relay the message to him, what she said he's busy right now, all thou they asked me to wait until they get the room ready for the laser procedure. She said you pay the fee for the procedure then he will have time for you. I asked to get a report of my visit she said it's not ready till "end of the day" today is 2nd day after my visit and still did not receive it. He doubled the fee of the Procedure code. People be aware what your insurance is getting billed for & if you are cash patient be extra careful of these money hungry doctors that they only care for their pocket and prestige. I strongly urge others to consider their options before visiting this particular doctor's office. It is crucial to find healthcare professionals who prioritize professionalism, empathy, and a commitment to the well-being of their patients.
