I had cataract surgery 13 years ago and could not be happier with the outcome. One eye was corrected for near vision and the other for distance, and since then, I can see clearly both far away and read small print with ease. Beyond the surgery itself, Dr. Phillips has continued to be available for follow-up visits and questions over the years, which I truly appreciate. Excellent care, excellent results. Dr. Andrew Phillips is a brilliant and compassionate doctor. My father saw him when he was at USC. Dr. Phillips decided to open his practice, so my father wanted to follow him. Dr. Phillips took excellent care of my father's medical needs and cataract surgery for both eyes. Now, 20+ years later, both my husband and I still see Dr. Phillips for our check ups and whenever we need attention for our eyes. Unfortunately, I needed cataract surgery for both eyes in my mid 50's. I knew right away that I wanted Dr. Phillips to do the procedure. I've always felt comfort, honesty, and professionalism with Dr. Phillips expertise in the field. I had cataract surgery for 1 eye, and it was amazing, I was able to see when I left the surgical center. I couldn't wait to get the second eye done. Within several weeks, I had the second surgery. I can honestly say that my vision was better than excellent, I was able to see things like a speck of dirt on a very high ceiling. Dr. Phillips was so… patient in explaining the details from beginning to end. Also, Noel was so helpful with setting up the appointments, taking measurements, going over the procedure, and the aftercare. I just referred my Uncle to Dr. Phillips, and he's a happy patient. After my cataract surgery within just a few days I was able to see the old TV towers on Mt. Wilson. I also enjoy seeing the mother deer taking care of her fawn. This is all seen while I am standing down in the S.G. Valley.

Last May, Dr. Andrew Phillips removed cataracts in both my eyes and implanted a intraocular lens replacement in each eye to correct corneal astigmatism. The procedures were done one eye at a time and the results were amazing. Best of all, these procedures were absolutely painless. I see a whole new, bright world and no longer need glasses other than light readers. The staff at Phillips Eye Care Center was extremely caring and attentive both before and after my surgeries. The procedures were done at the Special Surgical Center in Arcadia which is a state of the art facility with wonderful staff.

Dr. Phillips is FABULOUS. He restored my vision to 20/20 in my one and only eye! When you have only one eye and are losing sight in it, you want to ensure you make a wise choice. In my opinion he is the absolute best and I highly recommend him to anyone needing eye surgery.
