Called to make an appointment as new patient. Was told they were booked. I asked FOREVER?.Was not even given a date. Received a date and I asked what time. Was told first come, first serve. I told her this was not the deli counter at Publix. I needed a date; and she repeated first come, first serve. I told her I was not going to wait for 4-5 or 15 people before being seen. She told me call my primary and get a new doctor. Gladly. HORRIBLE.

I've been having trouble for over a week now just getting an authorization to be sent to the pharmacy for a seizure medication that I put on last month. I even called my health care provider to help me find out why the insurance company kept on denying to pay for the medicine & they let me know that Dr. Carrasco office still never sent out the authorizations to approve the VIMPAT medicine for me. But every time I called the homestead office, the receptionist would tell me that the authorizations are being sent out to the Walgreens pharmacy nearby my house. I don't understand what's the purpose of lying about sending out the authorizations that I need to get the meds paid for through my health insurance?? Because I truly can't afford to pay $700 for it on my own. I don't appreciate getting the run around my seizure medications & I don't wanna end up back in the hospital again because I keep having multiple episodes of seizures due to not having the VIMPAT medicine for a while now since… I can't pay for it!!!

The men who see you are NOT doctors in the US. The people in the office are horrible. The day I went in, the staff said they had not been paid for over 3 weeks!! Carrasco' wife Maria is a lost cause. She says shes a nurse, but license has been taken away, probable for doing something she's not allowed to do without a license. Please think twice about going here. Your life could be put in danger.

This doctor should have his license revoked. Con artist thief who plays with patients lives. The people working as doctors are no such thing in the states. He bills as if docs and they are shooting darts at people’s health. Watch out. I’ve reported for fraud so let’s see how far these truths go. His wife Maria is a lying scandalous cheat too. She had nursing license revoked. They live off other people’s investments. They falsely opened a dialysis center ken called Kidney Kare of Kendall. (KKK) They are going down. Your facilitator was also attached to the Medicare fraud complaint since a doctor of yours. He is bad news. He even overly diagnose patients with neurological symptoms then sending them to home care where he gets kickbacks. I have been trying to contact his office for 4 days now and no Ans.

The office only accepts cash but they don't tell you that until you're there and have to pay. There is no ATM in the building you have to drive a mile to the nearest gas station whose ATM was down. I was taken in to check my vitals and the guy answered his phone and spent the next 10 minutes ignoring me on the phone taking care of another patient. All this after I waited over 2 hours. Also, building manager was kicking people out of their chairs. The whole building is extremely unprofessional. I only stuck with it because I had waited weeks for the appointment.

First of all, wait time can vary as it is base on first come first serve. The office and waiting area is clean. The doctor diagnosis based on how the patient feels therefore he does not like any suggestions as he states that he went to medical school for many years. He needs empathy. He needs to be reminded of the Hippocratic Oath.

Awful staff, especially the head lady in the office. they see patients as walking dollar signs and only care about money.
