It took three weeks to see Dr. Gonzalez. I was told to come fifteen minutes early. After waiting an hour and forty minutes, I was told to wait possibly another forty five minutes. Over the years I have seen some of Miami's best and busiest doctors, many affiliated with Baptist, and none has made me wait more than twenty minutes. It makes all of the positive reviews suspect.

Dr. Gonzalez literally saved my life. I know that sounds dramatic, but in this case it is absolutely true. When I was transferred from a hospital in Naples, no one thought that I would live. I had had a celiac aneurism that had been coiled incorrectly. I had a hole in my stomach and infection everywhere. With months of treatment and a second surgery lasting four hours, I'm alive, the hole is closed, I just started eating again and I'm walking unaided. None of this would have happened without Dr. Gonzalez and his caring nature, conservative approach to the art of medicine, and truly amazing surgical skills.
