Dr. Barry K Douglas, MD

Would not recommend this doctor to anyone doing a Rhinoplasty. Doctor Barry Douglas did my surgery a year ago & my nose still look the same, crooked lopsided with a bump. I advise him that I did not like the results, he started doing injections to reduce the bump on my nose. It went down a little but this is not a permanent change. I told him I needed a revision & he said he would not do it because one wrong move and it could mess things up. I wasted all my money. I wish there could have been some accountability on his end, but there was none. I am back to square one, unhappy with a poor job and no funds to do another. Would not recommend. Run, see someone else. NY Plastic Surgery group, please do better.

Dr. Douglas strives for perfection. He is truly a gifted man. I was beyond happy with my extensive surgery. Dr. Douglas is meticulous and thorough. Terry and all other nurses were phenomenal. I was in the best of hands. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Douglas did my septoplasty and rhinoplasty . It was not what I expected. I was not happy with it at all. The tip of my nose was uneven. He did a revision a few months later. The tip is still uneven. So he put filler in but that didn't work. Now it's still uneven and the tip turns blue. I am so upset.Dr. Douglas seemed annoyed when I brought up my concerns. He just told me it looked good. I would never recommend him for a rhinoplasty. .

I was very nervous about this surgery , but Dr Douglas was wonderful and answered all my questions his nurse Terry was so nice , she also had had the same procedure as me in the past it was very reassuring .

Dr. Douglas was very good and super sweet . However , His nurse that helps him is completely rude - I would go back if it wasn't for her-its just such a shame that such a good Dr. has such a nurse working for him - I believe her name was Terry . She made the experience horrible. She seemed very stressed and took it out on us ( the patients) I hope that helps anyone when going to this office !

Amazing! He is devinci in plastic surgery! He is a true professional ! The experience was magnificent ! The staff was truly amazing caring ! I was treated like a queen and looked like a Star after the results were outstanding!

I went to Dr. Douglas for a implant removal and breast lift. He is a perfectionist , extreamly smart, very kind plastic surgeon.All the nurses & staff are very nice and helpful at the Garden City Office ( LIPS) Dr. Douglas is the best surgeon and I highly recommend him. He cares about his patients and my results are amazing! I look and feel great. I heard from other people who had other plastic surgery done by Dr. Douglas that they also loved their results ( by Dr. Douglas)

I have many skin growths, I have used many plastic surgeons. Dr. Douglas is the best because there was minimal pain and irritation, I took no tylenol even, and less scarring than any other plastic surgeon. Most of all Douglas cares and broke his hump to make sure I got in the OR multiple times before my deductible expired saving me money.

I highly recommend Dr. Douglas. He has such a loving heart and a special interest in helping women, like me, following a breast cancer diagnosis. Dr. Douglas changed my life. I had a total double mastectomy with breast reconstruction. He is a true artist. You want a talented "artist" creating your new breasts. My results are beyond my expectations. I can even wear an adorable tiny bikini and look great! Trust me, you will not be disappointed if you select Dr. Douglas as your plastic surgeon.
