Dr. Lana Kang, MD

I just had surgery with Dr. Kang. She is the best. This is the second time she operated on me and all I can I would never go to anyone else.

I had fallen and broken my wrist while out of state. At the time, I was taken by ambulance to the local hospital. Xrays were taken and I was told nothing was broken. I returned to work the following Monday and during the day, experienced severe swelling. I called Dr. Kang’s office and they respected my need to see her the next day. Upon taking X-rays with the correct diagnostic machine (to enable proper views of the area), she determined my wrist was indeed broken and she immediately applied a cast. Her follow up visits have always been met with the same caring and professionalism as the first. She exemplifies the consummate professional one would expect in the medical field and is calm, thorough, and analytical.

She puts her heart into her profession.Caring for her patients is her number one priority.

Unfortunately the doctor did not respect my appointment time nor the time I had to depart nor the simple etiquette of taking appointments as they are scheduled, instead of allowing arrivals that came after me in before me. I had to rearrange important meetings so that I could be at the appointment at the requested time. So have to say overall disappointing and disrespectful of her patients. What a shame as I now have to find another appointment after waiting for weeks to be left hanging in the end.

When I finally got a cast on my hand It was so poorly put on by dr. Kang, I had to schlep back into the City two days later and have it redone by the Cast department in main building Traveling from SI means carving out 1/2 day, losing business (self employed), as well as the close to 300. I paid in parking and tolls for the three days I had to get in. Not worth the aggregation

Dr Kang needed to revise a previous surgery done in a different hospital 6 months prior. The surgery was 8 hours and bone grafted from my hip. I was discharged the next day and stopped taking painkillers after two days! Meticulous, smart, �Excellent surgeon !! Highly recommend her! My arm is 99% perfect, more than I could ever ask for!!

I am booked for a fifth ulnar revision. She operated once. I find her honest and capable. Her staff is great. I have feat confidence my situat ion will be resolved.

I liked her very much. She was warm caring and determined. Her staff was very proficient as well. I found her to be honest and trustworty. Unfortunately my problem has not been resolved 100 percent. If I go back it will be my fifth surgery. I don't know if I can do it again. If I do, she will be the doctor to do it.

My son and I have had hand surgery with Dr Lana Kang. She is so kind and spent time with me .My surgery was very successful I would recommend her to highly and have.
