Dr. Marco Dimitri Burkhard

I arrived for my appointment and was told “The doctor is waiting for an exam room. You are the next patient. There is no patient ahead of you.” The same repeated at 20" and again at 35 ". I was then brought into one of several vacant exam rooms. “The doctor will be with you in a few minutes.” About 20 minutes later, Burkhard appeared. “Why are you an hour late?” The reply. “There were many patients ahead of you.” Obviously not everything that I was told could be simultaneously true; there was no apology for the lateness. I left. Later, Burkhard’s office Mgr called, apologized, and, aware that I live far from the City, said she would urge Burkhard to do a televisit. She called again to report that Burkhard refused to do that (despite that his website says that he “offers virtual care."). Why would anyone want to take a chance with a physician exhibiting such lack of candor, consideration, and accountability?
