Dr. Stephen Fealy, MD

I had shoulder replacement surgery in April, 2022 because of severe bone-on-bone arthritis. Surgery fixed the pain, but I've had limited range of motion ever since, despite more than a year of physical therapy and daily exercises. Cannot raise my arm even shoulder height. Cannot reach my right shoulder or the back of my head. Dr. Fealy said it was "frozen shoulder," but frozen shoulder hurts and mine doesn't. Moreover, physical therapists said the exercises I had been doing work for frozen shoulder, and clearly they didn't for this. A second opinion said it should have been a reverse implant and that I would have to have it redone. Not willing to go through that again. Dr. Fealy's comment: "It's not as though you were a 30-year-old ball player."

I and my entire family are so impressed with Dr Fealy and his team. During the Covid pandemic he met with us through telehealth and then in person prior to my knee procedure. It has been a difficult time but Dr Fealy made the experience seemless and I am back to playing tennis.

I'm an athlete who was looking at the possible end of my career with both a SLAP tear and a bicep tear. Dr. Fealy completely saved me. He took time to listen to me and always made me feel I was in good hands. My repaired shoulder and arm feel as strong as my other shoulder and arm, and I'm still performing. Everyone at HSS was great, but Dr. Fealy was fantastic, and I recommend him to everyone.

i couldn't be happier. dr fealy operated on my knee more than 10 years ago and we were able to get a good 10 years of sports accomplished. had a knee replacement end of the summer this year and have skied 5 days so far this season. very happy.

Skied last week because of Dr. Fealy. Transplanted a piece of cadaver cartilage and with great rehab I am pain free and to doing what I love.

Dr fealy and his staff walked me through the process after i tore my rotator cuff. all of mine and my family's expectations were met. we began an appropriate return to sports PT program with some great therapists. i am back playing tennis and so happy.

doc fealy made a complicated problem better with a simple non-op solution for me. took me two years to get better prior to meeting dr fealy and his staff very happy
