Dr. Bilal Ahmad Choudry, MD

Let me preface: He’s very smart and competent. Dr. Choudry is nice as well. He’s just a fast talker who gets excited talking about his own doctor stuff like conferences and can get carried away. I’m lucky I’m a scientist so I understand his science talk. He can ask very blunt questions so I was a bit taken aback once when he asked me a question about a personal life issue that can affect my symptoms that I wasn’t expecting. (This question is a valid one, he’s not being inappropriate by asking it, it’s how). And he was blunt and direct when he asked it and I felt embarrassed and put on the spot. The office struggles to do anything on time so I feel like his fast talking combined with office issues makes me feel like I’m being shoved out. He’s a great source of information but is jittery when explaining it. Maybe it’s just me but I feel like I’m either exciting him to wear he will wiggle his legs while standing or I’m irritating him and he wants to leave. I don’t want to discredit… his work because he is knowledgeable and honest. Dr. Choudry can be knowledgeable to a fault to where if you bring something up that is odd to you, let’s say like losing some vision or language problems occasionally, he might say “yeah that’s normal” but not explain why. You will be glad it’s normal but still want an explanation as to why it’s a benign issue. I just wish he’d work on taking a breath, softening up, explaining things and not just brushing them off if they don’t concern him, and working with his coworkers for better organization. I do understand that medical offices are businesses and sometimes they push for doctors to see many patients a day. I just wish that everyone was better organized and it wasn’t chaos and Dr. Choudry could relax more. He will sometimes get up and say “Okay I gotta go bye” and just...leave... I know it sounds like I bashed him but I’m just being honest. If you have seizures or wonder if you do, he’s a great seizure specialist and overall neurologist. I do recommend him. He knows a lot about research and what is going on in breakthrough treatments.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Choudry for close to two years. He’s extremely clear with regard to communication, has a broad-spectrum knowledge base, is compassionate, and very clearly has the patient’s best interests at heart.

find that have been kept on some medications for epilepsy to long still cannot clear driving after hospital stays therapy and taking meds that don not help arm tremor

Dr. Choudry is awesome. I took took my brother who has special needs to his appointment with Dr.Choudary. I appriciated the time he took to explain things to us. He also took the time to gather information he needed from us to get a better picture of my brother's needs. Dr. Choudary is an excellent doctor with the best bedside manners.

We saw Dr Choudry for the first time and was very impressed with him. The reason we gave him 4 stars on Accurate Diagnosis is because we are waiting for the test results .Very seasoned Dr. knows his stuff took his time with us and yes bedside manner was fabulous .Recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Choudrey is compassionate, knowledgeable, professional, and here's the best part, he has a wonderful bedside manner!! At my first visit, after a thorough exam, Dr. Choudrey updated my medication and ordered comprehensive medical testing. As a result, I am feeling so much better! Also, I should mention that Dr. Choudrey's office follows up promptly whenever I need to make or keep an appointment for testing and/or follow-up. I feel so fortunate to be under Dr. Choudrey's care and look forward to feeling even better soon! Thank you Doc!!

Egocentric. Lack of basic professionalism. Self involved
