Dr. Bernacki AND his P.A. Adam have the WORST bedside manner i've ever seen, with a blank look, no expression in eyes/face/voice, no interest/caringness AT ALL, both gave me MISINFORMATION in the MOST UNENGAGING MANNER. They told me i might benefit with a hip injection for osteoarthritis, done with a floroscope ONLY. PERIOD. I had to go to Zanesville (40 min trip on a school-bus like bus - no shocks *i don't drive) bc my little burg didn't have one. Then I was told that office didn't take Medicare, so they were sending me to Columbus (85 min trip). Nope! So I found a Dr in Zanesville that did, and informed Dr. B's office of who/when/where. Dr. C. Jackson IS AN ANGEL, spewing all kinds of info, asking me every? ???s a Dr could think of, told me "No, a hip injection can be done 3 WAYS, AND Dr. B.'s office didn't call me, I have to order the drug, but I called a colleague Dr. Bohlig who will fit you in, his office is across the parking lot." Just think, Dr. Bohlig did it out of his… generous heart so I wouldn't miss the bus. I'm keeping them both, and their staff.

I fell down stairs and had a proximal humerus fracture. I was referred to Dr. Bernacki from the ER. I had an initial repair with nail and pins that failed within 5 days a second repair that was nothing but a nightmare from word go. After failure to progress in PT I was tired of the I don’t know answers so I sought another opinion which lead to finally figuring out 11 months later the fracture was not properly set so it did not completely heal, very out dated approach was done witch severed a nerve, and the short arm of the bicep was never reattached in that surgery. So 3 additional surgeries to try to clean up from the disaster I’m still not ok. Lots of pain and terrible strength and range of motion. Instead of saying it was too difficult for him to repair he did subpar work which has caused my life to be uprooted and turned upside down!

Dr. Bernacki was and is the best Doctor my wife and I have known for 30+ years. We’ve never met a Doctor so down to earth and informative until we met Dr. Bernacki. At first he was so informative that we thought he was arrogant. We could not have been more wrong. Once we realized he was explaining things in many different ways we were able to not only connect with him but also completely understand everything. Everyone hears and learns things at different levels and different ways but he made sure we were on the same page before we left. The majority of Doctors speak in their terms so the rest of us can not follow. He gets it and he makes sure you do as well. If you are blessed enough to be seen by this Doctor then you will be in great hands!!!

Dr. Bernacki is a very arrogant, horrible surgeon. His blatant lack of care that he had for my husband has forever changed our lives. When asking about him at our numerous hospital stays, after we switched doctors the hospital staff also reported that there are more people who feel this way about him. Even the hospital staff feels this way.

Dr Bernacki performed 2 surgeries on me. Both surgery went well. In 2014 I had right carpel tunnel and 10 days ago I had left carpel tunnel surgery. My experience was very good. Hospital care, office visits, follow up. He is a very caring and professional. I highly recommend him.

I couldn't be happier with my visit and outcome. Had a total hip replacement 4 months age. Within 3 days I was pain free. Very busy surgeon , but excellent bedside manner and surgical skills. Everyone in the community loves this guy!

I did like Dr. Bernacki. I thought he took time with me and helped a lot. I will not return though because of his staff. They are horrible.

I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion. Also, you should request a prescription for name brand products such as aircasts, the ones available at the office are not supportive enough or adequately protective.
