Dr. Brandon Alan Vannoord, MD

Dr. Van Noord is the worst doctor I have ever had in my 77 years of age. He runs his practice like an assembly line. He did an injection on me without ever saying hello. He failed to communicate with my insurance company and because of that I was denied further injections. I recently filed a complaint with the California Medical Board to have his license revoked.

After an in person visit, struggling through the detritus of a remodeling in process (with no notice), difficulty in finding the actual office, and giving the required monthly urine sample, I was assured that I would have my monthly meds authorized. However, after several calls to the pharmacy AND the doctors office I STILL don’t have my meds a full week later and have been unable to pursue my normal activities! I’ve read other reviews and am convinced that I must be seeing a different doctor with different staff! Beware of FAKE 5 star reviews!!!

Excellent results, Dr. Van Noord managed my back pain using the nerve ablation procedure. Relief lasted over a year! Will definitely do it again!

When my previous pain management doctor retired, I was concerned, however, since Dr. Van Noord had worked in his office, and my previous doctor recommended him, I opted to stay with Dr. Van Noord. After neck surgery back in 1992, I had about 5 good years, and since then have had ongoing pain. I have been seeing Dr. V for at least 5 years. He is concerned with my well being, has been very compassionate and has seen me at my worst. He has me on a program of steroid injections and botox injections and I am amazed that I can carry on with my work and hobbies for the most part. I won't be running any marathons, but I can work full time, travel and still have time and energy for my life. I am very pleased with Dr. Van Noord, his office staff and the procedures that I have done with him. I think that you will find him to be very understanding and positive, and that is the best complement that I can give.

This review is very important to me and that you understand I am going on 71 years of age I have suffered with pain for the last 25 to 30 years from serious car accident... from one or another Drs. I've had two laser surgeries and more shots of steroids and numbing agents and pills for the pain. I was at my Wit's End and I went to see this doctor Dr Van noord because my other doctor quit the service. well the first time I met Dr Van noord I was a little taken back because he was so impressionable he's friendly. , he talks to you ,like you're a human being and he told me after looking at my paperwork that the best thing I could do is finally have a SI Fusion and I went" oh no" and he said" now wait "and he explaint to me how they now have screws that you do not have to have bone from your hip or a cadaver that the new screws they have actually grinds the bone and replaces it back in around the screws well I had my ifs ands or buts believe me. I did my research and I read up on it… and I talked to people who had the other kind done. the more I read the more I begin to listen I realized that this is the beginning of may be something very new. it's been around a little while maybe 10 years that might be a little high but it's close it seems that doctors are afraid to use it. Preferring cadaver bone or bone from your hip which I understand is worse than having the actual surgery. I don't know what it is except it works . that I had this done 2 weeks ago and I want you to know when I came home there was a little pain but my leg did not hurt my left leg it's going on 2 weeks and although yes I'm still on crutches and deep inside with the screws are is Tinder. I can tell you my leg does not hurt for the first time in 20 /25 years. on top of that before we did the fusion Dr Van noord did ablations on my neck and my lower back and I can honestly say I do not have headaches my fingers are not numb my head does not ache from a pain that I just wanted to hit my head against the door to make it stop. So this is my story and how far I've come with Dr Van noord in about a year it's wonderful but on the 16th I go in for my second follow-up and will remove the Staples and in three months will do the right leg which by the way is aching cuz I'm putting a lot of weight on that leg since I'm on crutches to protect the left leg but I'll keep in contact with you I'll let you know how it's going but so far the man could walk on water and I'm not exaggerating. the office is run by wonderful people they care. Sometimes I've ended up calling that office 3-4 times in a week asking questions finding out if I could come in earlier how do I do this how do I do that. withThe DEA coming down on doctors and patients it's nice to be able to have somebody to talk to about it and have things explained so I'll come back again and let you know how I do after the 16th thank you and this is Sharon
