Dr. Brian Daniel Burke, MD

If I could rate less than zero, I would. He did a total hip replacement on me in 2019. I woke up and could not feel my left leg. He said he had “irritated” the sciatic nerve during surgery and it would get better in a few weeks. It did NOT! My hip, back, leg and foot pain never stopped. The last time I saw him, he said it would be another year. I requested all my files and was shocked to see that his reports did NOT match what he told me!!! 17 months and many doctors later, they found the back pain was caused by pinched nerves. The pain never stop. I am crippled. I need a brace and cane to walk and my HIP hurts worse than before the surgery. I wish I had NOT had surgery and wish that I never laid eyes on Brian Burke! I am living in constant pain and can no longer do many of the things I loved. A word to the wise, find another doctor, BUT if you do go to him demand to see your x-rays and request the office notes.

I would never recommend Dr.Burke!! I was sent by workers comp to visit Dr. Brian Burke four days after I twisted my right ankle and fractured my fibula at work. He removed my temporary cast I had from ER and because I did not want a surgery at this time and he gave me short cast boot, said I can walk in it and sent me to do a sedentary work. No concern about any rehab, pain, non-weigh bearing status for right leg. I had only crutches from ER and it was sufficient for Dr. Burke that I will walk and go back to work. On my question how I will get around, pass steps, take a shower and get to work he said to ask my employer and his smart front desk young woman said I can call uber. He is a businessman but not a doctor and his staff is ungrateful. Thank God I found another doctor who took care of me. You should not walk on fractured leg or bear weight for at least 6-8 weeks – it can be found even on internet. The orthopedic boot should be tall to support my whole leg and help with heeling.… These are only a couple things to point out how badly he treated me. Dr. Brian Burke was setting me for a failure. Please be advise before you visit him. I do not recommend Dr. Brian Burke for any patient to visit him.

I had cuff rotator surgery with Dr Burke, I'm 47, the procedure was performed at the highest level: clear explanations provided, not a single second of nausea post anesthesia, amazing pain management, no significant scars left, the personnel was always very nice, no mess with insurance payments and what is most important now, after physiotherapy, my arm is as good as it was before the procedure, beyond expectations! I'd like to thank Dr Burke and all the staff involved in the procedure. I would highly recommend him

I was referred to Dr Burke by a friend, after a not so pleasant experience with another ortho surgeon about six months ago. Dr Burke's staff was friendly, and I was able to get into an appointment quickly, to my surprise. After X-rays were done prior to the appointment, I met with Dr Burke and explained my frustrations with pain and previous ortho surgeon who left me feeling hopeless and with little options outside of hip replacement. He listened intently, even though I was a bit long a drawn out . He calmed my concerns and immediately talked about options which lifted my hopes for future health and healing. His professional manner along with his positive demeanor was the difference maker in my life. He also referred me to a pain management doctor as well. Thanks for the great experience.

He's extremely knowledgeable and can get you an appointment REALLY quickly!! He doesn't spend much time with you though, and doesn't answer questions that you don't ask. No suggestions for home care or remedies. He doesn't seem to care much about pain issues. But. He's EXTREMELY nice! I don't know if I'd recommend, but I wouldn't warm against. Neutral review.

He is by far one of the nicest Dr's I've ever seen. Excellent bedside manor, takes time to explain and answer any questions. His staff is great also. Would highly recommend him.
