Gallo is very rude! I am appalled by her demeanor! Did absolutely nothing.

Very professional experience, I'm grateful for the neurosurgeon and her team and their exceptional abilities.

I’ve been in more pain since the artificial disc replacements than I ever was before. I’m looking for a second opinion now, 18 months post-op. My neck throbs nearly everyday, my range of motion is almost nonexistent.

When I went in to see doctor Gallo, she was not warm, she spent about five minutes with me and told me I needed surgery and left. She seemed unconcerned, rude and like I was just a number. I have had several friends say they have had very similar experiences. I would not recommend her to anyone.

I found Dr Gallo and staff to be very cordial and willing to give important information.. Dr Gall was very kind at my visit and before surgery. Everyone has a life and or off day where they might seem abrupt and the mind of a surgeon i assume is busy... If your surgery wasn’t an outcome you wanted I am sorry. My surgery is a success at 2 weeks out. Yes I have surgery pain which I expected. Thank you Dr. Gallo. God bless you Deb Inks

Been trying for the last two months to get into surgery, but it's being held up because Dr Gallo needs to be assured of the money she will be getting from BCBS. The insurance company has already told her that she does not need prior authorization for the surgery and that she can go ahead. Apparently, that's not good enough for her. She needs to have it in writing how much she will be getting. In the meantime, her patient is suffering every day, in pain. What ever happen to "First, do no harm"?

I've always tried to live by the saying "If you can't say something nice about someone then don't say anything at all." However, I wish I had read the warnings found in these reviews BEFORE I let Gallo work on me. I refuse to call her DOCTOR. Four years later and I'm still in pain. Surgery was a horrible experience and a total waste of time. Avoid the torture and find a real doctor, you know, one that acts like a health professional and actually lives by the hypocratic oath.

I had surgery with Dr. Gallo in 2012. And I have been in pain every day since then. I have seemed help with doctors all over Oregon since then. I would never recommend Dr. Gallo to anyone. Her bedside manner is terrible also.

She and or her staff failed to notify my wife when surgery was done, not a phone call or in person, nothing prior to going in the OR. And she asked if my wife was in the waiting room and had her phone number. She made an appearance at my bedside and was irritated at the hospital nurses and was very “verbal” about it. As for their office it’s taken multiple phone calls and hand delivered disability paperwork packets to get them processed, you know my paycheck! I’ve been told multiple times that it’s been emailed or faxed and the paperwork shows up in my mailbox with nothing written on it and a sticky note saying they don’t do long term disability. A phone call would’ve been a lot easier than me, a week out of surgery walking 3 miles to their office tho drop the paperwork off for the 3rd time only to find out 2 days later they still hadn’t faxed them to my companies HR! So today I made another phone call and finally got the paperwork faxed. I get the feeling these guys don’t like me… and I hope I’m right because if this is how they do business it’s amazing they still are in business. I’ve never had any problems with any surgeon, and I’ve had my fare share of surgeries, quite like this. This has to be the worst experience of surgery I’ve ever had from start to finish and I still have 3 appointments left. Someone needs to remind Dr. Gallo and her staff that is patients deserve better from her. I’ll never use her service again nor will I recommend her to anyone and if someone says they’re going to her I would highly recommend they choose a different doctor. NO STARS HERE! The only good thing so far is the surgery itself has helped a lot but I’m only a week or so post op. It won’t let me post without leaving one star highlighted so, 1 star on a technicality.

I was in extreme pain and barely able to move and do my daily activites when I came to Dr. Gallo! After seeing my x-rays and examining me she had me in the hospital for surgery in less than a week. When I woke up in recovery, I no longer had the old dreaded back pain! I was in the hospital for a few days and on to rehab for a couple of weeks and have had ZERO back pain. The surgery was 5 years ago, I am now 80 yrs. old and no more back pain! Thank you, thank you Dr. Gallo - you are a miracle worker!
