Was sent there by my provider cause I’m have trouble with my pancreas stool smell like ammonia already been diagnosed with Eosinophilic esophagus disease first this dr Saperstine says to me is what do you want me to do tried explaining what is going on, with my pancreas he say stop saying pancreas it’s not your pancreas said my PCP sent me here to have a MRCP done he say I won’t do that to complicated wanted to do another EGD tells me I wanna see for myself about my esophagus even though He has the results from my last four EDG proving I have EOE then commence to ask me if I was in some kind of cult cause I have tattoos want dose me having tattoos have to do with my health he was rude condescending disrespectful just a truly ignorant person and he represents Arizona Digestive Health I wish I would of done my homework a little better and read the reviews I wouldn’t of subjected myself or my wife to this man’s rhetoric. If you’re needing a gastroenterologist pass on this man

Excellent care and Superior knowledge

This is the absolute worst practice I have ever been to! You cannot get anyone to answer the phone (I called for days and even left a message but didn't get a return call in the listed 24 hours), the office staff is completely unprofessional (I was hung up on because I was trying to get test results they should have had for a week and half, and I told them no one was answering the phone for days or returned my call. I called back after being hung up on and they hung up on me again!), and the doctors do not care about what is happening in their office or about patient care (I drove to their office to speak with the Office Manager, left a message for both doctors to call me back and was told when I called back 2 days later that they chose not to call me back)! I asked to speak with the Office Manager and was told they would take my message and if she felt like calling me back she would, and if she didn't then she wouldn't! (I was told this by Nicholas, who is the individual who hung up… on me twice). I already informed my PCP of this practice and they will be looking into removing them from their list of recommended providers. I will be contacting the AZ Medical Board to file a complaint against this office. They need to learn about something called Patient Abandonment (Dr. Saperstein never reviewed my test results with me, never advised further treatment, and never provided notification that my care was being terminated). There are too many caring, professional doctors and staff than to settle for this place!

The doctor is great, but trying to reach a human to speak with is impossible. Their automated system takes you in circles and circles and when you do get somebody they speak to you in a condescending manner. If they only knew what frustration level their system puts on the caller. PLUS the phone number on their discharge papers for calling in case a problem arises, is a disconnected number!

in the office i saw a PA, she was awesome, Dr came in spent about 5 minutes with me, gave me medicine for acid reflux which i do not feel this is what i have, i have had acid reflux and it never caused severe pain in stomach area. scheduled Endoscopy and colonoscopy for a month out. i wasn't happy to have to wait so long and suffer with the pain. after procedure he came over and told me findings. then left. i felt he should have explained each finding he notated on the paperwork. needs to listen to all my symptoms and not jump to a diagnosis.

This was my first visit with Dr Saperstein. My husband and I were equally impressed with him. His waiting room and seating is very inviting and comfy. He is extremely attentive and immediately makes you feel comfortable. Has very good bedside manner and really seems to care about finding the cause for your symptoms and not just treating them. I would highly recommend him.
