I had developed some conditions and Dr. Herdman properly and quickly diagnosed them and started a treatment plan that has shown great improvement

The wait was short to see the physician was short. All the staff were great He listened to my issues and discussed Had appropriate recommendations for my problems and will follow up. I liked him a lot and I would recommend him to friends and family

I’m reading these comments and I’m seeing that a few reviews have obviously been removed by someone! A couple of years ago I was told by my physician that because of my age, I was due a colonoscopy, so I went through a routine colonoscopy. and I was encouraged to also have an endoscopy at the same time. The camera RECORDED a HEALTHY colon and a healthy digestive track (GOING IN) ! However, several hours after I went home I began vomiting up BUCKETS OF BLACK BLOOD !!! When I called his nurse SEVERAL TIMES to ask if that was normal she said “NO” and that she would tell him. Eventually after an hour and 45 minutes of continuing to poop and vomit blood, my boyfriend called an ambulance! The hospital found that when Dr. Heardman had removed the endoscopy, he had obviously removed it so carelessly that he had cut my upper digestive track in several places ! Later I learned from one of the nurses that when I had initially called his office to ask why I was vomiting up blood, that he had… called a “ special meeting”for that hour and 45 minuets to make sure that he wasn’t going to get in any LEGAL trouble !!! Instead of telling me to get to the ER immediately! Obviously he’s so immature and just plain STUPID! That he didn’t REALIZE that if I had died, he would have been in EVEN MORE LEGAK TROUBLE!!! The hospital was WONDERFUL and treated me like a queen ! But Then after the ordeal was over ? This SOB had the ALMIGHTY NERVE to call me up and state that he wasn’t going to pay for any of the hospital expenses that are incurred because of the way he recklessly removed the endoscope! Then like a spoiled little boy, he studdered and said “ I’m not, I’m not, I’m not ... I interrupted him and said “CARELESS ?” And he went silent. Then I said “Have a good day Dr. Herdman” and hung up the phone. This man has an Arrogant demeanor when you go to him and he’s full of himself and irresponsible ! And in my opinion and “ others who’s reviews have obviously been removed from the internet”, he’s Not cut out to be a physician ! If you read his profile. He appears to be more interested in GOLF. Maybe he should have focused on becoming a professional golfer instead.

Dr. Herdman told my father that "He didn't know why Dad wanted a colonoscopy at his age. He'd lived a long life." My father is in his early 80s. Really? Is there a cutoff for people wanting to live a healthy life? Should we just bump off all the old people cluttering up the planet? Unacceptable.

Dr. Herdman's office did an excellent and efficient job of getting me checked-in and oriented before my colonoscopy procedure. All of his staff were professional, polite, and businesslike. Dr. Herdman explained my lab results to me (in layman's language) before the colonoscopy, and reiterated why he was performing the procedure. After the procedure, he explained the results to me, and had follow on suggestions to take place after my discharge.

I have a familial history of colon cancer and have had about a dozen colonoscopies and endoscopies. I have had these at the VA and in several places. Dr Herdman will have the dubious honor of taking care of me for the rest of the time he is in practice and I continue to need his expertise. His office is friendly, extremely well run, gives out appropriate pre appointment information, and he explains the procedures better than anywhere I've had these things done. He is fantastic and I feel totally happy to have found him. Dr John Quincy

Two colonoscopies required due to bleeding polyp. The on call doctor performed another colonoscopy the day after my first colonoscopy. Never have had a follow up call from Dr. Herdman.
