Dr Chien-Ye Liu, MD

I have seen Dr. Liu for years. He always promptly replies to my messages and has helped me manage my migraines. I went to Stanfords headache clinic and I prefer the treatment I have received from Dr. Liu.

Worst Doctor experience in many years. I am extremely disappointed with the service this doctor provided. I visited him for a general headache consultation. He spent about 10 minutes with me, 5 minute of that talking about AI at Facebook and Google and if robots can eventually replace humans. The next 5 minutes was just going over herbs and medicines (basically information available online). There was nothing personalized, and nothing really helpful. And finally, I received a bill of $478 for this very poor and disappointing service. I am extremely disappointed about their service, and will never continue with him and Sutter.

Dr Liu is awesome. After years of suffering from migraines and being put on the similar meds by other Doctors that did little to help, Dr Liu took the time to really figure out my case and found a meds that literally took my headaches away. I am an ex migraine sufferer and I have Dr Liu to thank for it. He has changed my life.

This doctor doesn't believe me when I told him the cause of my problems. He said I'm just depressed.When I went to see another neurologist later, that doctor knows things.I would not recommend this doctor.
