I was given several recommendations for a surgeon when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I looked them up on-line and decided to make an appointment with Dr. Hodyl. At my appointment, Dr. Hodyl explained the lab findings clearly, and explained my treatment options so I could make an informed decision. Both my husband and I felt very comfortable with her explanations as well as her compassionate and professional manner. Her staff guided me through the preparation and scheduling of surgery, and I had a lumpectomy two weeks ago. My hospital experience was positive; the nurses and staff at South Nassau Hospital were kind and efficient. While my primary concern is to be cured, I was amazed when Dr. Hodyl removed the steri-strips from my incision. The scar is minimal, and it is healing beautifully. I have no doubt that it will fade completely in a few months. Dr. Hodyl not only removed the cancerous tissue, she used precise, neat stitches to minimize scarring. While no one wants… a breast cancer diagnosis, I feel blessed that I made the right decision in choosing Dr. Hodyl.

I was referred to Dr. Hodyl following what was to me a devastating diagnosis. At the very first visit she calmed my frayed nerves by explaining my treatment plan to me in a way that was clear and easy to understand. I never felt rushed and I felt she had my best interest in mind. When time came for my surgery Dr. Hodyl was exemplary, she listened to all my concerns and provided me the best care. I'm a 22 year old who recently had a surgery done by Dr. Hodyl and I highly recommend her! She was very kind and clear about my options. I couldn't feel any luckyer that i found Dr Holdyl and Asst, nurse . who supports and guided at my worst time of my life . Breast cancer was no joke Dr Hodyl gave me strength and wisdom . I had gone to one of the most well renown Doctor prier to seeing Dr Hodyl he couldn't care less .How was i going to pay was all his office wanted to know as for him he just sent me to his assistant . Dr Hodyl , dr Port , Dr Ott are my guardian angels and I'm willing share them. Dr Hodyl saved my life I am honored to have found her and blessed .
