Dr. Christine Claire Pierre, MD

This has got to be the most unprofessional group of individuals I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. If you have any conflicting opinions regarding your care they simply don't want to hear it or work with you on it. Dr. Pierre ordered blood work to be done and my faith doesn't allow blood donations (to give or receive). I recently had a medical emergency and another doctor would like to work hand in hand with Dr. Pierre to change the medication I am on for epilepsy. However, since I have not completed the blood work (again, it is against my beliefs) they will not see me and they will no longer prescribe me medication. The medication I am on is not a narcotic or controlled substance. It simply prevents me from having seizures. This office's policy must be "Do what you are told or you don't get the medication you need and be as nasty as possible when speaking to patients". I have never heard of a doctor holding medication hostage like this. This is nothing more than… bullying patients into compliance. So if you are willing to be bullied, spoken down to by the staff, and have your beliefs trampled on in order to get the medication you need to live a normal (in my case seizure free) life, then this is the place for you. As for me, I will be searching for a new doctor that will take my thoughts and beliefs into consideration when treating my condition.

Once she finally came in, it was ‘here are the test results & I’m sending you to another doctor.’ No explanation or discussion of how the stroke affected me, what to do for improvement or ‘I hope things go well for you.’ Just here are the test results now I’m done, leave. What an attitude! No empathy or compassion.

1 Star is too high for this provider. After waiting 50 mins to see her, she walked in and asked how I was. I told her I was disappointed in how long I had to wait and she went on to let me know my appointment was for 30 mins after I was told. (Come to find out she went to someone with an appointment after me first) Did not care about my inconvenience and walked out of the room saying I could discuss my problems with the desk as I already wasted 2 mins of her time. Don't see this provider, her time is much more important than yours.

Dr Pierre can not read scans CT or Mri. She said the reports were wrong on both their diagnosis from 4 different MD yet she was wrong. I have been suffering for 3 years. I went to her. She looked at her watch over talked me. And did nothing. Cost me over $200 for nothing. Now I get diagnosed with the disease she says I did not have per my brain mri.. Which was not the proper mri. She can not read a mri. Do not trust her..

Dr. Pierre was wonderful to talk to, she listened to everything I said and the wait time wasn't long. Her office staff has always treated me with the upmost respect and returned any messages I have left very quickly.

how does a neuro completely ignore a scan showing a 5cm mass in brain? prior reviews show she lost hospital privd in Miami when seeing patients in her condo on Biscayne blvd... now she moves up here and cant see a 5cm mass???? then is rude and says headaches have no cause- ignore them

Beware of this office. Don't choose this doctor. In the last 3 years this doctor has had 3 different nurse assistants: Desiree, April, and Rachel that directly work for her (not her business partner). That should be a red flag on itself: the employees turn-around. So, the doctor treats patients who suffer from narcolepsy, ADHD and other neurological disorders which for the most part require medication that can only be prescribed for 30 days supply at the time (example: Vyvanse, Adderall, and/or Concerta, or xyrem, etc) with no refills since the type of substance category it falls under. Well, this doctor has gone on vacations and has left the patients without medication and or prescriptions written. In my case, 3 different occasions. (And the other doctor she shares the office with won't and didn't sign for her patients prescriptions) So, imagine you suffer from narcolepsy and you have more than 1 week without your medication? Now, another is the prior authorization process. Most… insurance require prior authorization and your pharmacy is going to do their best to process the paperwork which is ultimately handled but the doctors office. Well, say a prayer and cross your fingers the doctor is not on vacations or that her staff is in a good mood or better yet trained properly. I lost count on the amount of times I had to personally go to the doctors office to request up to dates regarding the paperwork. My last appointment was scheduled. As a requirement by the state of Florida a drug test has to be order to verify patients taking this type of medications have the drug in your system (and you are not selling it on the streets), well I went to the appointment; however, I didn't not get the lab done. Any why you asked? well, because I haven't been taking Vyvanse (for 2 1/2 weeks) and Xyrem (more than 35 days). And why is that? Because the doctor was on vacations and didn't sign the prescription, and because Xyrem has called them to request refill authorizations and they haven't got a call back from the doctors office. I have no drug test to get done because I haven't taken any of drugs I am suppose to take. This last appointment I didn't see the doctor, I was greeted by the front office with a "we tried to call you to cancel the appointment because you didn't get your lab work done". Well, no calls were made to my cell phone (or so my call log shows), and my response regarding the lab work was what I just said.... what are you testing for if I haven't take the meds you were suppose to prescribed? The outcome was for the doctor to call me, this was 1 week ago. I am still waiting. ZZZzzZZZ Pick another doctor. I am not going back.

Saw Dr. Pierre for new patient appt last week. She was very knowledgeable and took her time with me. Explained mri reports answering all my questions, my prior Dr never did this. I look forward to having her as my neurologist. All office staff was friendly and made effort to make me feel welcome. I have multiple sclerosis.

Dr Pierre was very professional, she took the time needed to insure your comfort and that you understood everything. She was very personable and friendly. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I enjoy Dr. Pierre and she is very knowledgeable about my spasmodic torticollis, treatments, the Botox injections, etc.
