Dr. Christopher Guerin, MD

BEWARE! this guy will cost ya! went in to see him with thoracic back spasms which were causing me to breathing problems and heart flutters. he saw me for 5 minutes. tapped my knees with a rubber hammer and said its not your back, its your heart. he advised me to be seen for my heart. i went to the emergency room, they did a slew of tests. they said there was nothing wrong with my heart or lungs, it was thoracic back spasms. the day in the emergency room cost $8000.00 dollars to which my insurance only paid $5000 of it. thanks dr guerin!

Was in pain for two years. Dr.Guerin had MRI s done. He did origal surgery. He said nothing wrong. Go to theraphy or pain mgmnt. Took my MRI to another neurosurgeon in Sarasota. He showed me on the MRI what was wrong and why I have been in so much pain. Had another surgery and I FEEL GREAT. If I had stayed with Dr. Guerin I would still be in pain and he would be making money off my numerous visits. He never took the time to review my MRI properly. He needs to retire because he obviously doesn't care about his patients! !!!!!

Dr. Guerin has been my doctor for over 4 years. Until recently he seemed to care, did two surgeries on my back. Now he seems annoyed that I went to him when I experienced pain and needed his help. He was cold, short with his words and said he couldn't help me and bascially ran out of the office without offering me any kind of advice, except to go see the pain management doctor. He has no idea how mean an impersonable he was, or maybe he did. I am seeking another Doctor. It breaks my heart. Spent two minutes with me and I never really go a word in. He commented that I looked like I wasn't getting any sleep, I was in tears, that seem to annoy him. His staff is so wonderful, they are caring and concerned. Too bad that Dr. Guerin is the opposite.

How lucky we are in this part of Florida to have such a talented and experienced Neurosurgeon. I just found out that he actually taught Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins!! WOWHE SAVED MY LIFE!
