Dr. Christopher W Palmer, DO

I have seen Dr P about 4 times in 7 months and his PA/NP about 6 times in same timeframe. I have no complaints with Dr Palmer. His PA and NP are top notch. When appt is with PA or NP, I am seen in a timely manner. When appt is with Dr P, I’ve waited one hour beyond appt time to be roomed and an additional 35 minutes before he came on room. I wish the schedulers were more realistic with the time he takes to see pts and schedule accordingly. Fenton location receptionist does not wear a name tag, does not make eye contact and does not engage with patients. This is a bit off-putting and not representative of the rest of the staff, but not how a patient would like to start their visit.

Came back to see Dr Palmer when I began having pain in my right knee. I previously saw him with problems with my hips due to arthritic issues he recommended cortizone injections which did not help, and I subsequently had to have total hip replacements about 7 months apart. After X-rays and an MRI of my knee revealed a torn meniscus and significant arthritic problems, we discussed the issue and we decided to proceed with a total knee replacement. I would not trust anyone but Dr Palmer to perform the surgery which will be in the middle of April. A big shout out to Dr Palmer and his staff for being so professional and thorough in taking care of my orthopedic needs. They all care about the patients!!!

We was very please with the girls in the office. Still waiting for the results of what will happen , but great vibes and please with Doctor Palmer so far.

My visit with Dr Palmer was my first. After the X-Ray he explained in great detail that I needed a total knee replacement and took the time to answer all my questions.

Staff was great but wait was a lil lengthy. In room, X-rays and cortisone shot was about 2 hours total. Only 1 person working desk to check in and check out patients. South county location seems to have more help and shorter wait times - but Dr was great and so was all the staff. I’m going for an early morning appointment next time. That might help.

Dr took time to answer my questions Listened to my concerns, waited for a time to see me although I was coming from a distance and was late. He was personable and professional.

Dr. Palmer did my third try at a left knee last year in September. Another Dr.had done the first two and they were never right. By using the robotic device Dr Palmer was able to see the implant in my knee was slightly misaligned. Using the robotic device he was able to get the new knee in perfectly and get the alignment correct. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Palmer. He corrected what had been a six year problem. Got it right!

Did two left hip partials on me the first one fell out within two weeks and then surgery a week and a half later never chatted with me, and when he did, he accuse me of doing things wrong which I did not do. I now have a new orthopedic surgeon.

Fairly easy to get an appt. Sometimes seen by nurse practitioner. Very good.
