I feel so blessed to have Dr Harms as my Ortho Doctor..hes compassionate, sweet, nice sense of humor and takes time to explain the situation..you just know you are in good hands with him... My primary internist thinks highly of him also..

I went to Dr. Harms for a second opinion and to try to delay knee replacement. Dr. Harms listened to my concerns and let me know the decision to have or not have knee replacement was totally up to me. He provided all the time I needed to get the answers to all of my questions. His suggestion to try a series of synvisc injections as an alternative, when I expressed a desire to delay knee replacement, has proven to be highly successful. I am walking without pain for the first time in ten years. My osteoarthritis appears to have subsided for now and the range of motion for the knee has increased substantially since the series 16 months ago. At the time, I was told to expect to to get relief for the pain for up to six months. I am feeling great - the inflammation reduction has been most impressive. This doctor is all straight talk - common sense - excellent doctor to patient communication skills; and a real asset to the profession. Both Dr. Harms and his assistant are rising stars… in their respective fields. Highly recommend both.
