Dr. David Jon Martin JR., MD

Dr. Martin is an extremely amazing surgeon and warm and has great bed side manner. His staff everywhere including their surgical center are so nice. Dr Martin has don’t a total shoulder replacement on me which went spectacularly. I fell unfortunately 3x and tore everything and he went back in and repaired torn rotator cuff etc. Another amazing surgery. I just had torn meniscus knee surgery by him and again he and staff are amazing. He’s an extremely talented thoughtful and nice surgeon. Thank u everyone

Went to see with foot pain issues. Told me he didn't work on feet. Was disimissive and Condescending. Unpleasant experience overall. Needs to work on his bedside manner.

Went to see him after a bunionectomy surgery left me in pain. Told me he did not work on feet. Referred me to the OSM Podiatrist Dr Feldman who wanted to remove the joint from my toe. Went back to my original dr who said my joint was perfectly fine. He was dismissive and did not address my concerns. Told me he did not work on foot issues.

Dr. David Martin is an incredible Doctor. He has the bed side manner and personality that makes it easy to communicate. Additionally he did a great job on my Full Knee replacement. The hospital released me too early - just after one day - even after my wife told them that I was a fitful sleeper. I have been a sleep walker in the past and I am still an active sleeper. My insurance allows for a two day stay but I was sent home after one day. It was the Physical Therapist that released me despite my reporting a sharp pain in the knee. The PA in the hospital made fun of my wife's request saying that she just wanted one more day off - which we thought was said in jest originally but evidently was part of their consideration. Once home I awoke in the middle of the night with a sharp pain in my knee and when I sat up to grab at my knee I passed out and fell out of bed onto both my knees. I hyper-flexed the surgical knee and tore the quadracept. I had to have a second operation to… repair that damage. All along the way, Dr. Martin was engaged and showed a high level of interest and participation in my condition. You could not ask for better. His staff is also very personable and involved. I'm still going through the trials and tribulations of this endeavor but I have the confidence that his care and forethought will get me to a good place.

Dr. Martin always goes above and beyond when treating my knees. He has successfully replaced my right knee and is now treating my left knee. He always gives me his opinion about a treatment and listens to my concerns. His assistant Jessica Archiere is very helpful scheduling my appointments and always makes me feel comfortable. Makes no eye contact with parents. Walks in, poked my my my child's knee, looked at the computer and made his diagnosis. No bedside manner or personality. OSM has too many patients, they don't spend quality time with you.

Excellent doctor! Would recommend to any one of my friends and family. He performed rotator cuff surgery on me. It was minimally invasive, no complications, and I healed perfectly. I have total confidence in him and would use him again for any other orthopedic/sports medicine injuries!!!

Dr. David has successfully treated several family members. He is a fantastic doctor. Each family member had a complete recovery - ahead of schedule. I highly recommend him.

Has rotator cuff tear. Gave injevtion. Quick shave and a haircut. In and our in 5 minutes. No explanation, no advice for therapy. told come back in 6 months. Very poor compared to treatment at HSS.
