Dr. David Powell Gruber, MD

I live in W.W. Wa.I want to know if he is out of my network if I new surgery again. I have Humana insurance

When his coworker gave me no home, Dr. Gruber came in and not only gave me hope, but his surgery gave me the ability to walk again. Awesome, awesome surgeon!!!

Had to give Dr. Gruber only 3 stars because, although he is an excellent surgeon --- 5 star for sure -- not only do you rarely get to actually see him personally, he seems to have a problem with post-op problems. Gets a bit defensive about many post-op problems being related to the surgery --- seems to automatically assume you are blaming "his" surgery as a causal factor, when you are just telling him how you feel when asked. This is especially true when Worker's Compensation is involved. It's like he doesn't want to take blame for anything, but won't come out and say what you are experiencing is due to the injury. He just says that it is not because of his surgery.

I was diagnosed with chari malformation at the age of three he took me in and fixed it.

Dr. Gruber saved my three year-old daughter's life. She had a large brain tumor which Dr. Gruber removed. He fit her in...the tumor was found on a Tuesday and he took it out on Wednesday night. He is an excellent surgeon, the follow-up care was top-notch, and he has a good relationship with the nurses in the hospital. Many surgeons are kind of arrogant, but Dr. Gruber is completely accessible and kind.

I have had Dr Gruber do surgery on both my neck and lower back.He is efficient and very skilled as well as a nice man!! I would recomend him to anyone who is thinking about a consult.

I wanted to say thank you again, you have fixed my spine three times and to be able to use both legs perfectly and to no longer have that crazy pain is priceless, thank you Dr. Gruber!
