Strict authoritarian mannerism. Abandoned me when I developed life-threatening complications. Bullied my wife/caregiver. Blamed the victim. NWSH equates to a surgery mill IMHO. Exercise caution.

Talks a good game but when the chips are down and he has screwed up a surgery, he does not want to see you again. Beware of this guy!

Dr. Kent is what I wish doctors were: he projects calm, competent, confidence; not the petulance and arrogance so common in the profession. I researched doctors, surgeries, and medical devices thoroughly prior to choosing him, as I have a 2 year old and was quite literally putting my life and my daughters future in his hands. I chose well, and frankly do not believe there is a better doctor in his field in the Western United States. He is frank, direct, and tells you the truth that you need to hear; is very straightforward about everything from risks to expected results, and I respect that far more than someone who is just saying what they think you want to hear. If I need any work on the rest of my spine - which is likely - I wouldn't trust anyone else.
