Dr. David Samsun Rho, MD

Dr. David Rho has been my Retina doctor for over 11 years. He is extremely caring and knowledgeable. I was very anxious when I started having symptoms that were affecting my vision. I was sent to see Dr Rho immediately. I have many serious medical problems, especially Lupus, Heart Disease , vasculitis and Diabetes. Dr Rho , having the expertise to deal my vision problems along with all of my other health issues, diagnosed Wet Macular Degeneration in addition to my my changes in vision. He always kept my medical doctors informed of my progress. He had me on the Macugen shots for several years. I did well but continued to see Dr Rho on a regular basis. Having had a break from the shots for a while, on a recent visit Dr Rho found that once again I had fluid building back up and would need to start the shots again. This time I am on Eylea shots. I wasn’t anxious at all. I have complete faith and confidence in Dr Rho. He is very gentle and calming and explains everything to me. I cannot… imagine not being his patient. I would highly recommend Dr David Rho to my family and friends or anyone else needing expert Retinal care. In fact I recently recommended my sister to see him as well.

Dr. Rho is exceptional. I had an eye emergency and needed a retina specialist. I did my research and landed on Dr. Rho because of his educational background. It is impressive, but he is so much more than that. He is experienced, knowledgeable, calm, attentive, and caring. I've had 3 separate tears in my left eye and each time he calmly said, 'we'll take care of this.' And he did. Another eye doctor who has checked my eyes has described Dr. Rho's work (on my eyes) as needing to be in a textbook. Dr. Rho ends each appointment by reminding me that I can call anytime I notice anything new or think I need to be seen. I have taken him up on that a few times and sure enough, his staff got me in to be seen within a few hours. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Rho and his staff. They are the dream team- experienced professionals who actually care about you!

I have been seeing Dr Rho for about 2-3 years. My vision has significantly improved during that time. He is always very cordial and honest. I drive almost 45 minutes to see him because he has helped me so much. I consider Dr Rho and his staff my friends.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Rho for 15 years and his care and professionalism has been evident at every single appointment. He’s very wise, thorough, takes time to explain the tests, has a positive outlook, and I feel he has provided the best care for my eyes all through the years.

Dr. Rho is a gem. As a patient, I feel cared for and valued. And I trust him with my eyes, as I was born with eyes that made me extremely nearsighted. Dr. Rho always volunteers thorough explanations and answers questions easily and understandably. I do not worry about my sight, but try to follow his instructions and do my best to help him care for my eyes. I DO believe that Dr. Rho does want my sight to remain the best it can be.

Dr. Rho has been taking great care of my wife and I for several years. He is professional and friendly. He takes great care with our vision needs. Top notch service!!!

I have had the privilege to know Dr Rho for almost 15 years. I came to him with what I thought was an annoying vision problem only to discover I had macular degeneration in both eyes. Dr. Rho is a nice doc who knows his stuff. He is honest and knows what he can and can't do. The staff is very friendly and, I've been going to him for 5 years.
