Dr. David Bruce Rye, MD

To be blunt, Dr. Rye can be a bit of a jerk sometimes, though he will later acknowledge it and apologize. I think he is a genius and I don't use that word about very many people. I no longer, sadly have him as a doctor, but other doctors, who might otherwise be too timid to take the steps that he does, have continued his plan for me, simply because of his reputation as perhaps the top doctor treating RLS in the world. Seriously in the world. I have had one sleep specialist and two neurologists specializing in movement disorders tell me that Dr. Rye is the best doctor anywhere treating RLS. I cannot recommend him strongly enough, even if he can be a bit of a prima donna. But he can back up the attitude. And if he can't cure your RLS, no one can.

Dr Rye is a kind compassionate guy. He genuinely cares about his patients. He is caring and thorough and thinks outside of the box. We feel so lucky to have him in our corner. Dr Rye is a very much sought after doctor and the wait time is lengthy to get in with him. It is weel worth the wait. He spends as much time as needed with his patients and gives 110% to all

Unfortunately have vast experience with docs for my health problems, as well as my 4 parents. My giant of a father-in-law was reduced to poor health overnight. Alarmed for his inability to sleep and an overnight movement disorder, we sought Dr. Rye's help. He personally, thoroughly evaluated the situation and helped so much with medication. It's been over 7 years now since that experience, but I have yet to find a more responsible and knowledgeable doctor in any category. A GEM. Follow up visits were with other members of staff, but after such initial care and consideration, we were fine with that.

Dr Rye has been handling my Restless Leg Syndrome and Sleep Study for several years. He is the most enthusiastic, upbeat, specialist I have ever met and he has so many research interest that he will discuss with the patient - - impressive! He is abreast with the patient's case and enters the room with a list of ideas for your case - - - then you make the decisions jointly for your care. Absolutely among the best in his fields! He frequently gets himself in trouble with his schedule - - - spending too much time with all patients . . . . .He is truly a dedicated and outstanding Doctor in his field.
