Dr. Donald Michael Chervenak, MD

Dr. Chervenak is an exceptional doctor. He put me at ease the entire pregnancy and during the birthing process. I had a horrible experience with previous doctors and their lack of care and attention. With Dr. Chervenak I never had any issues.

Dr. Chervenak performed a D&C on me. I was a bit nervous and apprehensive, but his sense of humor and obvious skills put me at ease. The procedure went off without a hitch. His nurse practitioner, Erin, is also excellent and very thorough. Thank you for taking good care of me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chervenak's for more than 27 years,. He has guided me through two pregnancies, numerous gynecological issues, and most recently menopause. He is without question, the best doctor on my healthcare team for so many reasons. His concern for me as a person is compelling, let alone the fact that he is a well respected medical professional. I hope he never retires!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Chervenak's for over 30 years. I think that speaks volumes. He is caring, attentive and thorough. He is never in a rush and always spends a great deal of time with me at each and every appointment I have ever had with him. His office staff and nurses are amazing. They too are caring, sweet and attentive. If I call with a question, they get back to me very quickly. Dr. Chervenak delivered both of my children. I also was diagnosed with cancer many years ago and Dr. Chervenak and his staff were by my side during the whole thing.

Dr. Chervenak has delivered three of my four children. He caring, knowledgeable and considerate . His bedside manner is the best ever . You can ask for a better doctor .

I've known him since he was a resident at SBMC, and was a loyal patient for years, despite the rude staff. He delivered both my kids, now 20 and 21. However, he became ever more jaded and political as the years went by, and I felt he stopped really listening as well. He is a sweetheart, a kind man, but if I have an issue, I don't really want to hear about politics. Sue, the nurse midwife, is great and saw my daughter for her first appointment. She loves her. Sadly, though, I'll be moving on to a new doctor. I need dialogue not monologue.

Went to appointment today unfortunately without new paperwork. Paper work took less than 10min to fill out in my car. Now I have to wait tell September. Front desk staff Diane/ Office Mgr. Susan T. were rude in addition to NO customer service skills. Asked to speak to Dr. Chervenak and was told by office manager that he was not available and didn't know when he was going to be in the office. "REALLY" this is how you treat a loyal patient for 20 years. New staff are extremely POOR at customer service- rating is a ZERO.

I must say I have read nice reviews about Dr. Chervenak but I believe that your staff represents your practice. No one returns my phone calls and when I finally called back the 5th time they were very rude to me on the phone. Tried to make an appointment and replied with a snarky remark. I yet kept calm and responded back with pure kindness since I do not believe treating someone with disrespect will get you anything in life.

Dr. C is extremely smart and spends time with his patients both in his office and on the phone when needed. I'd give him an extra star.

I've been seeing Dr. Chervenak for years. He used to be local, but now I travel 40 minutes to see him, and it's worth it. He's very easy to talk to, very knowledgable, and really puts your mind at ease. I wish there were more like him.
