I would recommend Dr. Howard to anyone experiencing issues! I had been to 3 doctors before finally seeing him, he helped quickly diagnose my problem and evaluate the best plan of action! One week later he removed my gallbladder and I feel SO much better! His team and him are easy, professional, friendly, efficient, and a God send to work with!

I cautiously approached my decision for a gastric sleeve procedure in 2019. It’s a serious decision. Dr. Howard guided me through every dimension of the procedure - Preparation, details about the procedure, recovery guidance, and expected lifestyle changes. He gave me personal education and a partnership on how the gastric procedure can be a success. I was 334lbs. I lost half my weight and now very steady at 170lbs. My weight came off quickly (12mo), but the caring advise on lifestyle changes helped me to maintain my desired weight. I have partnered with my doctor during my journey. Feeling excellent and full of energy. The advice and guidance has been excellent. Very direct, caring, and understandable. Many do the procedure, but don’t take the time to understand it and more importantly follow the advice of the doctors.

Dr Howard is the best. He is friendly and tells you what to expect. I was 333 when I seen him a year ago and now I lost 120 pounds. He rocks. What a good dr that takes time and explains things to you and answers all your questions and get results Dr Howard is your Doc. Thank you so much for my new life I am experiencing.

Dr . Howard is truly amazing ! Not only is he an amazing surgeon his overall heart as a person is miraculous. The day of my surgery a getting ready to be sent back he asked to say a prayer with me an my family. I was truly surprised but extremely happy he lead the prayer ??. That showed to me that he believed in an higher power and that’s who we needed in that operation room that day. I am now 2weeks post op a doing great a not even on scar is showing. Dr. Howard and his team have been great through my whole experience with a gastric sleeve. In the last year I’ve lost 150 pounds! If you stick to his plan and florist the process, you’ll get your desired outcomes.

Worse bed side manner I have ever experienced, not to mention as a new patient. Dr only wanted me to walk after sleeve revision n hernia surgery despite complaint of chest pain when swallowing food or liquids. He had no interest in what I was experiencing even after three weeks post op but kept asking me the same question of how much am I walking. A month and a half I later I ended up in the ER for the same chest pain and when visited and saw the CT scans that Radiology took that showed a hernia was still there,he denied that the hernia was there. A complaint was made against him with the hospital at Methodist. FYI the surgery had been done at Hermann.

I had an umbilical hernia repair with Dr. Howard. He was very friendly and approachable. I felt very comfortable while under his care and trusted his ability and knowledge. Plus his team and staff was very nice and helped answer questions and ease my worries and concerns. I felt very taken care of and felt like they took care of me like family.
