Wonderful doctor, wonderful person. Very honest.

I would definitely recommend West Coast Neurology to anyone who needs to consult with a neurologist. Dr. Barton has been treating my son for about 4 years and has been doing a good job of controlling his epilepsy. Now during the pandemic the doctor conducted a safe telehealth appointment with my son. Also West Coast Neurology has doctors who specialize in sleep medicine for those people who help in that area.

Very kind hearted caring doc. He listed to me carefully, and laid out a detailed plan to figure it out. After testing had a very clear diagnosis. H did a full "brain mapping" with a machine to record my brain at home. Very neat stuff. He's not my first opinion. Other neurologists recommended the brain mapping, but they didnt have the technology to do it and wanted to admit me to a hospital. This was a pleasant experience from start to finish.

Detailed analysis, asked a ton of questions, examined me. Didnt feel I needed testing because he was sure what I had. He gave me the treatment, Im as good as new. Second neurologist I went to also! Cant say enough.

I really loved Dr Barton. Great guy, very personable and funny, caring. Did a few tests, but was careful about cost. Then gave me a great solution which worked. Go see him.

Wow. He actually LISTENED to every detail of my ramblings. Then, he did the unthinkable, he considered what would be the best option, set a plan, problem solved. I love you Dr B!

Waited for 30 minutes for a 5 minute consultation during which time Dr. Barton spent most of the time writing up his report. All he did was one tap on my arm and barely asked any questions. He didn't even bother taking my heart rate. Glad I was there for a second opinion or I would not have known anything at all regarding my conditions. To contrast, my first visit with my original neurologist, was for 45 minutes in which a full neurological examination was performed including a thorough assessment of vision, muscle strength, balance, and cognitive evaluation. On my second visit, the wait was again 40 minutes and the time with Dr. Barton was less than one minute as all he had to say was that the result of the MRI was normal. He could have had the clerk call to give me the result if he had no intention to provide any explanation of the test results or do any evaluation. I was dismissed to deal with my symptoms with no further guidance.

I was very satisfied with my visit. It's just nice when someone actually wants to hear the details and wants to consider all options to get to the answer.

What a doctor ans what a PERSON! Yeah, actually a decent human being. He actually heard me, fixed me. Why couldnt the other 5 Neurologists just focus on what I was saying and THINK about what to do for me?! Anyways, turns out my problem was a simple one, but I wouldnt have known that until I met my 6th Neurologist!

Amazing! Very thorough. Really talked to me about what is going on with me and about possible causes. We talked about treatments. He spend a lot of time with me. He really wanted to make sure he didnt over-order tests to care about esxpenses
