Upfront cash demanded for approved surgery. Caution if you plan to use in-network insurance here. FASTMD prioritizes cash revenue over insurance plans and patient care. Dr. Siddiqi recommended spinal surgery for my husband, but CEO Jay refused to seek prior authorization, claiming insurance wouldn't cover it, and quoted a high cash price. I had to submit the clinical records for prior auth to Anthem BCBS myself. Our insurance fully approved and pre-authorized the surgery as an in-network benefit, binding the practice to their contracted rates. Instead of honoring the approval, FASTMD blocked our care. Their scheduling supervisor stated they would only schedule the surgery on a "cash-pay basis" outside of our insurance. When Blue Cross tried to intervene, management ignored their calls. We walked away to protect our medical safety and finances. Formal regulatory reports have been filed with the U.S. Dept of Labor (EBSA), the FL Board of Medicine, and the FL Attorney General. Dr. Siddiqi is very understanding and compassionate. Explains everything without all the jargon. And he is an excellent surgeon! Did my husband’s lumbar and he was up and around in approx. 3 weeks. I can’t wait for him to help my neck... it’s been about 2 years but he did everything possible to avoid it but now we need to take that chance!! Thank you Dr. Siddiqi in advance!

Dr. Siddiqi operated on my back in 2015 and did an amazing job. At 63, I was nearly crippled with bulging, torn, and herniated discs, severe degenerated arthritis, and stenosis. He is solely responsible for my walking today. Just saw him for a follow up, and he had the same amazing attitude and care for my well being. A wonderful doctor!! I’d recommend him highly (in fact I have to several friends).

Dr. Siddiqi performed surgery on my lumbar spine, which had already been operated on and then re-injured in an accident. He and his office were great, and the surgery completely resolved my sciatic pain and leg numbness. Thank you so much.
