I am a female with a drop foot problem. Was sent to this office by my primary care doctor and my husband went with me. On my first and second visit the staff was very friendly and professional. My wait time was not long at all. Saw Maria Stout the first time...second time saw her and then she had Dr. Huffman come in to tell me what to expect. I did not find him to be arrogant as some reviews have stated. Rather, I saw that he was extremely busy and has quite a surgery schedule, yet he took the time to sit down and explain in detail exactly what kind of surgery he wanted to do on my lower back and was very thorough in going over all the risks, etc. I had my husband in with me as two sets of ears are better than one. After explaining the procedure he wanted to do, he asked if I had any questions and he listened and I did not sense that he was rushed. On the way to the surgery scheduler, he noticed the type of shoes I was wearing and gave me good advice on what I should be… wearing and why. Left the office that day feeling that I am in good hands and that he cares and does his best for every patient. However, as with all surgeries there are no guarantees. Busy and direct as a surgeon, but not arrogant!

Excellent surgeon. Performed my neck surgery 7 years ago and more recently repair of a herniated disc in my low back. Very professional and courteous.

After Dr. Huffman preformed my back surgery, I feel at least 20 years younger and my pain level has decreased at least 85%. A big thank you to Dr.Huffman and his wonderful staff!!!

Dr. Huffmon guided me through the process of relieving pain from a very long standing neck issue. He was very thorough in his evaluation and did not immediately jump right to surgery. He prescribed an effective course of treatment that mitigated my pain for almost 2 years. When these treatments finally proved to not be as helpful, Dr. Huffmon said -- It's time for surgery and that's what we did. As a patient, it was very comforting to know that my doctor was highly knowledgeable yet could make me understand the surgical process; was a straight talker in terms of what to expect pre and post surgery; and, he was caring enough to know that this was a Big Deal for me as a patient. I appreciate his talents and expertise and would highly recommend him.

Wonderful staff and excellent communications on my back issues and very concerned about my pain level and care needed.. no surgery needed immediately but conservative treatment is on going and very helpful.

I recently had the SCS implant and 7 weeks later, I can say I am very happy with the results. Dr. Huffmon's skill, gift of surgery, and the Nevro H10 stimulator have greatly improved my quality of life. I would recommend both for those seeking long term relief of chronic back and leg pain.

I had suffered a work related fall completely rupturing my L4/L5 disc. Unhappy with the local Ortho MDs treatment plan (& the ortho spine doc going on vacation the day after he planned to do my surgery...not good for me if there were an emergency following), I contacted Dr Huffmon's nurse to see if I could get in emergently. Dr Huffmon worked me into his already full schedule, showed me the MRI results, took his time explaining to me & booked surgery the following day. His bedside manner was kind/caring & his surgery results exceptional even to this day. That was Feb 2008. He said it was one of the worst ruptures he had ever seen or worked on. Full recovery took about 6 months with physical therapy. Since the surgery in 2008, I've had no further issues with my L4/L5 disc & the incision healed beautifully & cosmetically almost unnoticeable.

Dr. Huffmon deserves more stars than you have room for! I could hardly walk going to the hospital for my surgery. I’m back on the tennis courts now. Dr. Huffmon was there for me whatever I needed. He came into my room every day in the hospital. His staff is wonderful, thoughtful and kind.

Everything from the office staff to the surgery was awesome, I would highly recommend them, I am feeling better now than I have in years, thank you everyone!
