Dr. Thomas Eric Melin, MD

Dr. Melan performed surgery on my father's neck several years ago and the outcome has been constant neuropathy in his hand. This is pain he now deals with every day. Present day, Dad starting having back pain and we returned to Melan but we have had very disappointing visits. Dr. Melan is arrogant and presents himself as impatient with no time to deal with your concerns. My father is 87 with early Alzheimers and Dr. Melan's disregard for his patients questions is not intolerable. We do not need a 'hand holding' doctor, but do require someone who respect his patients. His PA is great, and if you get to see Melan you may wish you had seen his PA. He was down right rude to my father and we will not be returning.

Dr. Melin has no regard for patients, he is very arrogant an will not address the issues you are having. A very noncaring attitude toward patient and questions the reason you were referred to him. I will not ever see him again and hope others think before they do.

Very abrupt and old fashioned in his methods. I would never recommend him to anyone!!

Dr. Melin is a fine doctor. However his staff is horrible. Not just bad, but rude, not helpful, and disorganized. They lost records, gave conflicting/confusing information, and overall did not know anything about the practice. I silently wondered if they were all temps and this was their first day at work. I do not recommend this place at all.

Dr Melin and his PA, Sean Hensler, are amazing! They took excellent and prompt care of my lumbar fusion. I have my life back thanks to them.

I have been in a lot of pain for years. Making a decision to have surgery was not easy, but I am so glad I did. Dr. Melin and his staff have taken excellent care of me and I would recommend him to anyone!

My experience was very satisfying. I was very well taken care of. I had surgery with little pain and was back playing golf and tennis within 7 weeks after surgery. He is a down to earth doctor who takes very good care of his patients.

i had neck surgery with dr melin a few years ago. when i started having trouble with carpel tunnel i went back to him instead of another dr. his staff took care of setting up my studies and they got my insurance to take care of my surgery

Dr. Melin is very knowledgeable and has an excellent bedside manner. I would recommend him for any one who has severe neck or back problems.

The office staff appear to be either bored or burned out. The hardly say hello and do not seem to really care about the patient. The practice seems very concerned about "getting their payments" They charge a full office vist price even thought my insurance has a copay of 25 dollars. Dr Melin very seldom smiles and he and the PA always seems to be in a big hurry and sometimes I cannot get my questions answered. When tests like MRIs and such are ordered it may be 2 weeks before you hear anything back even if it is a pre-surgery test and you are waiting to see if a surgery can be done.very frustrating . I have great confidence in dr melins surgical expertise but his practice is uncaring and badly managed.
