Fantastic result and excellent surgeon!

I was badly burned as a child and Dr Nicholas Georgiade saved my life. Dr Greg Georgiade took over my care in 1992 & is still taking care of me. In 2004 he performed a mastectomy for breast cancer & I got along great. He always listens to my concerns & answers my ?'s. He is my friend as well as my surgeon.

Dr. Georgiade operated on my mom taking out a breast tumor and biopsied 5 of her lymph nodes. She was released just hours after the surgery and when we went out to dinner at a nearby Fridays, when the D.J. started the music, she was up and dancing. It's really remarkable. She never took any of the pain medicines because said she never had any pain! She's amazing but we believe that Dr. Georgiade's surgical care and expertise made her recovery so easy and painless. Thank you Dr. Georgiade! Thank you!

He is a great DR. Always listens and does what is best for the patient. WE need more Drs like him.

found the doctor and his staff to be very knowledgeable and through. Staff was caring and patient. The doctor took his time to explain what was found in diagnostic testing and thorough in ordering new test to be sure all was found to prepare for surgery.

I was having terrible problems with a polyurethane implant that obviously needed to come out. The implanting physician in another state would not help me. It took me a year to get an appointment with Georgide. When I presented with an obvious problem, he blew me completely off. After that appointment I finally found help in Cleveland, and ended up having fluid backed up into one arm, and upon removal of the implants, I lost many lymph nodes. I had an excellent result with the Clevland folks, but it took a 14.5 hr. surgery to strighten out a mess. Subsequently, I discovered that Georgiade was/is one of the patent owners of the implant that was in my body. I ended up have 3 reconstructive surgeries to get me back to comfortable. And my serious eyesight (systemic) problems subsided in 72 hrs. after removal of those bad boys. I deem Georgiade to be only of the classic "good ol boys" that you find in well established health institutions in the South. Georgiade is arrogant beyond… belief. I would not let him clip the nails of my cat.

I saw Dr Georgiade for a second opinion. Firstly, he has a horrible bedside manner. Very arrogant and dismissive. Secondly, I later learned that he misdiagnosed my condition. Thankfully I found a wonderful surgeon in Cary. I would never recommend Dr. Georgiade to anyone. Perhaps he was once an excellent surgeon, but now he is quite lazy and riding the Duke "name."

He spent too much time talking bad about other doctors to make himself look good--I found this visit very disappointing.

It's been l5 years since I first met Dr. Georgiade when he diagnosed me for breast cancer. I received excellent care from him all the way around. he deserves l0 Stars on a scale of l to 4.
