Dr. James Garland Cruse JR., MD

BEAWARE. I was a patient of his since 2016. This April his office expedited my annual physical by two weeks. During that visit he thought I was drunk, I was not in the least. I told him to test me for alcohol. He took my keys and called the cops on me. He did other things to me since 2020 but i will not post them here. I am life loving person and in May while I was planting flowers he had the police and the ambulance capture me. They took me to the ER and packaged me to a mental facility "protect me". SHAME

Have been seeing Dr. Cruse for primary care for several years. Always very pleased with the office environment and personal care provided. Dr. Cruse is careful and considerate. Have recommended him to several friends in the area.

Dr. Cruse himself is ok, the staff is another story,, had to call numerous times and was put on hold every time with I'll tell the Dr. or Nurse and they will get right back to ya. 3 days later and still waiting for somebody to get right back to me.

He taunted concerns about my long standing fever, failed to report alarming lab test results to me, mocked my concerns about healthy diet and life style choices while touting his enjoyment of Skittles and other junk food;

Dr. Cruse listens carefully and thoughtfully. He always spends enough time with me to accurately understand what brought me to his office, and is willing to explore alternative ways to respond to a particular condition. He is open, responsive, gentle, and kind. A great mix for a family doctor!

I have been living in PA.6 years and have a lot of issues, I thought i would never find a doctor that spent time I needed Listened to what i had to say and didn't stand by the door with his hand on the door handle ready to run. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a great person and doctor, The best bedside manner and follows up with you Thank You Dr. Cruse for being there

The staff is very nice, office is clean and Dr. Cruse is very kind. My reason for no longer going to him is because I want a full time doctor. He only see patients 3 days per week. The other 2 days he only cares for VA patients. So don't get sick on those days even though he is in the office because then you are out of luck.

Doctor cared about the issues and worked with me on the fee because of no insurance.

Would recommend him to anyone who's looking for a caring doctor. He's patient and takes time with me. Always follows up. Makes me feel very comfortable. I have full confidence in his abilities.
