Dr. James Perry Lovinggood, MD

After a follow up visit regarding a kidney stone l made an off handed comment as l was leaving about making so many trips to the bathroom he ask when l had my last DRE. Told him didn't remember. The exam followed and sure enough prostate cancer. Dr Lovinggood took the time to cover my options. Radiation treatment followed and l have been cancer free since. He is a lifesaver.

Dr. Lovinggood was recommended to me by my primary care physician. I had a tumor on my right kidney and this is one area that Dr. Lovinggood specializes in. I met with him before my surgery and he explained the surgery to me. He was very pleasant with a nice bed side manner. I liked him immediately. He performed the surgery and removed part of my kidney. I am now 1 month post op and feeling great. He is a great surgeon with a down to earth personality and a good sense of humor. I do recommend him!!

Dr. lovinggood must be near retirement. he has little time for being polite or courteous. too bad i cannot give negative points for bedside manner.

Dr. and staff very prompt,friendly and caring.I have been seeing Dr.Lovinggood since the 1990's and have never been disappointed.

I don't understand the negative reviews, I have been going to this doctor for some time and his staff has always been more than courteous to me. I am one to write down my questions and research things so I am prepared prior to going in to see the doctor.

My visit to ths doctor was all good.

Had to ask for a cystoscopy and him and his nurse laughed at me for asking. I just wanted to get to the bottom of my pain.Then afterwords left me waiting on the table for an hour before returning with attitude and he told me I was fine and then got upset because I wanted to ask what the exact finding was seen, like was my bladder inflamed etc..he snapped "its ok", and ran out. On top of it the nurse was snotty.I would not even recommend him to my dog for a prostate exam. Very , very pompous!
