Dr. Jared Tyler Roberts, MD

I traveled more than 2 hours to consult Dr. Roberts regarding my need for a hip replacement because of his outstanding reputation and his expertise in using the anterior (front of the thigh) approach to total hip replacement. Dr. Roberts performed my surgery at Albany Medical Center several weeks ago and I am pain-free and walking without crutches for the first time in 2 years. I found Dr. Roberts, his PA, and his office assistant to be caring and professional in all aspects of my interactions with them. I hope I don't need any other joints replaced, but if I do, I certainly will travel back up to Albany to put myself in Dr. Roberts' care.

Dr. Roberts is professional and caring. As a 27 year old in need of a hip replacement, I was in a lot of pain and extremely frustrated that nobody would operate on me because of my age. Upon meeting Dr. Roberts, I instantly felt the stress and worry lifted. He is very thorough and explains things in a way that make so much sense. I can honestly say that he has changed my life for the absolute best and I cannot recommend him enough. If you have any reservations about hip/knee surgery, I encourage you to make an appointment with Dr. Roberts. You will not be disappointed.

Not great aftercare

Explains everything thoroughly, friendly, knowledgable very fast recovery. He has replaced three joints and all have very fast recovery times Both knees and right hip.

Excellent Surgeon. I would recommend him to everyone. God Bless him.

Because of Dr. Roberts I now remember what it is like not having pain again. He is a frantastic surgeon.

I recently had an anterior hip replacement on the HANA table by Dr. Jared Roberts. Compared to the posterior hip resurfacing I had 4 years ago this procedure is a piece of cake!! I would do it again tomorrow if I had to.

This is the doctor you want as your surgeon. He is awesome!!

I had an appointment with Dr. Roberts for a shot in my shoulder and waited in the room they placed me in for more than an hour before leaving. Dr. Roberts did call to apologize for this mistake as the staff never told him that I was in the room. The next appointment I had with Dr. Roberts, the staff told me that the appointment was cancelled and never called to let me know. The staff is not helpful and are rude.
