Dr. Jay Michael Dutton, MD

My experience with Jay was nothing short of lovely. Surgery or really any procedure is scary. With Jay I felt not only comfortable but excited. He helped me shape my vision into a reality and I plan to go back for future consultations!

I had an incredible experience with Dr. Dutton. I am more than happy with the way my nose looks and feels after my rhinoplasty. I was in fact, so happy with my results I have since returned for several other smaller procedures which I feel have only enhanced my natural beauty. I sincerely value his honesty and transparency and always feel comfortable going into his office.

My experience with Dr. Dutton was phenomenal. I am terrified of anesthesia, and he was extremely accommodating and willing to do my entire procedure awake, which enabled me to have it done when I otherwise would not have done it. I had been enduring facial pain and back to back "sinus infections" for as long as I could remember, and I had been on antibiotics on and off for most of my life. He was the third ENT that I saw, and the first one who actually stuck a scope down my nose, and discovered that my "sinus infections" were not sinus infections at all, and then he was the first doctor to do a CT scan and discover how screwed up my sinuses were. He showed me the image and explained what I was looking at. It was extremely informative and it was awesome to know what was going on every step of the way. He figured out what was wrong when no one else did, and it drastically improved my quality of life.

I will never recommend dr Dutton to anyone he claims he is a excellent dr but his staff sucks !!! I deal with so many different dr s but never ever experienced such unprofessional staff he has in his office .. He needs to change everyone in the front as first impression is the last impression as they say !! Dr Dutton is the one who was treating me not the staff he should have cleared the correspondence I had with his staff !! Bless him

Doctor Dutton is truly amazing. I truly like going to see him. He has been treating my sinus for the last three years. He is very kind and truly cares about his patient's health. The staff in his office are also very kind. He truly is the best sinus specialist.

Dr Dutton performed my septoplasty and rhinoplasty 6 months ago. I am still having trouble breathing and my nose looks deformed. I went to see him to voice my concerns. He told me I was making a big deal out of the look and it was only “slightly off”. He also said he doesn’t know why I still can’t breathe because I am “open”. That was it. Nothing more to examine or try to fix the problem. My nose is visibly crooked and my confidence is even worse than it was before the surgery. I am ver disappointed by his demeanor. I don’t think he really wanted to hear me because I am African American and he tone was very dismissive. I paid over 10k for all of this work and will now have to find another doctor for revision surgery.

I had a first time appointment at their Downers Grove location. Despite being in the middle of a pandemic with riding cases and a new variant of concern, the lady at the front desk wasn’t wearing a mask. If you’re high risk like me, do not go to this office. They clearly don’t care about everyone’s safety.

Not impressed. Would I return never. When I have to pay my co-pay I want to see my doctor not his assistant.

I recently had my lips done by Dr Dutton and I absolutely LOVE them! I have always been hesitant to get filler for fear of looking unnatural or "too plastic". I let him know that I wanted them to be full but subtle, and boy did he deliver! He was so sweet, professional, and has a gentle touch. Will be going back soon with my mom for some botox! Thanks so much!!

Do not him perform surgery on you. I paid him over $3000 up front for the cosmetic portion of my surgery and he did absolutely nothing that I wanted him to do. In fact, it looks much worse. My nose is crooked and one nostril flares out more than another. He also uses deceptive practices involving insurance. The office staff promised me that he was in my network. That was the only reason I agreed to let him operate on me. Following the surgery I found out he was not- then I was responsible for another large bill and a ugly, crooked nose. He has no bedside manner, is very arrogant and he often has you see his PA for return visits. I had a small septal perforation and he insults me by saying it was from doing too much cocaine. I've never done any drugs in my life! He might have been joking, but not funny! Do your research and stay away from this surgeon.
