I found Dr.Jeffrey Gelblum. He is so caring and Ialways prepared to talk to you about any concerns you might have. Kudos to Rodney and Emily...the most patient individuals you will ever come in contact in a physician’s office. Being a novice on the computer they took the time to take me through the steps and it was successful. Please G-d keep them all well to be there for us. From the heart...Cheryl Rivkind

Due to unexplained weight loss and swallowing discomfort, as well as sudden onset of sore muscles and ligaments, I was terrified of a myopathy or worse since I am aware of the overlapping symptoms and fatigue is one. I had been to several neurologists 20 years ago for a hard to diagnose problem and he had explained it for me, and helped me on a number of occasions, since then and with a migraine which he resolved with an eye exam and an MRI. This time I was so frightened, and he was able to explain and examine me and allay my fears initially, as well as schedule me for an EMG and a neural conductivity test, the gold standard for starting diagnosis of neural problems. He was very reassuring and even called me back with the results when he had to reschedule the follow-up appointment. I wish all my doctors were as efficient, competent and reassuring as he is and as logical and helpful He is truly compassionate and his office manager, Carol tries to be very helpful. The rest of his… staff is very good, too. He is worth the wait and the money spent. 5 stars

Dr. Gelblum helped me tremendously with my teenage son who suffers from Autism. The doctor recommended a medication regimen which has now stabilized the combative behavior so that my son can now re-enroll in school. Dr. Gelblum’s staff is amazingly helpful with regard to insurance authorization, medication prior authorizations, and just overall friendliness. This is a great office to work with that treats you above and beyond. They have a fantastic TeleHealth option that allows you to have a follow-up “virtual visit” on a smartphone when it’s difficult to come to the office in person. I highly recommend this neurologist to any family with a special needs individual.

Thank you Dr. Gelblum for being truly caring and being a concerned doctor. I have been a patient for over a decade and have found only professionalism and a friendly office. Dr Gelbaum does not rush appointments as many drs do these days! He takes the time to discuss any issues one might have and makes sure your on the right path! I highly recommend the Dr. and thank him for his dedication and support!

Would give 0 stars if I could. When I came in for my appointment I was told I couldn't see the doctor unless the receptionist took a picture of me for their file - after she verified my identity with my driver's license and proof of insurance. First she claimed this was required by the insurance company to prevent fraud. No, it is not a requirement imposed by any insurance company or the law. Then she admitted it was their office policy so that the doctor would recognize his patients. I asked to see the policy in writing. None existed. The doctor agreed with his front-desk staff in front of me and refused treating my acute medical issue based on the fact I did not want them to store my personal photos. Fine. I contacted my insurance company and was put in touch with a much better (and professional) doctor.

My Dad was having tremors, and 2 other Neurologists prescribed levo-dopa (for Parkinson’s) which was making Dad very agitated. A work colleague recommended Dr. Gelblum, and my family is eternally grateful. The office is warm and inviting. Great staff, entirely efficient and up to date. There is even a little service dog, Scooter, to make the experience even more pleasant. Dr. Gelblum is personable, kind, and knowledgeable. With 25 years of experience, the man really knows his stuff! After a careful exam, Dr. Gelblum was concerned about misdiagnosis. He ordered a new type of scan (DaT) specifically to rule out Parkinson’s. The test was NEGATIVE! An entirely different medication was prescribed and the tremors are gone. Dad is doing GREAT. I recommend Dr. Gelblum in the highest possible way.
