Dr. Jeffrey Thomas Hodrick

Doctor Hodrick is a great doctor, He did my surgery on my right name 5 years ago And on back for him to do surgery on my left knee. Dr.Hodick is my orthopaedic surgeon he is great, He gave me options.

I am a triathlete who needed a hip replacement due to severe osteoarthritis. My daughter is a past ortho trauma nurse and she asked her nursing friends for recommendations on the best surgeon for anterior procedure hip replacement. Dr. Hodrick was one of the top choices with low complication rates and a good bedside manner of listening and communicating effectively. I did my research and chose to meet with him. After that initial meeting, I was convinced I choose wisely. Dr. Hodrick was easy to talk to, and as a past athlete himself, he knew what getting back to my athletic pursuits meant, even as he explained the limitations on running after hip replacement. I felt well cared for by his staff and scheduled the next available surgical slot which was one month out. On the day of surgery, the Southern Joint Replacement team was excellent, calmed my nerves, treated me with respect and kindness, and surgery was performed on time and as expected. Dr. Hodrick saw me before surgery and… briefly after surgery. He is not one to hang around and chat, but I didn't need him to. I wanted to know that surgery had gone well, and the hip replacement was performed without issues. I got to go home that day - no staying in the hospital! -which was huge for me. My recovery has been excellent and so far, the results of the replacement are excellent. I can move without pain, and I'm starting back in some of my athletic sports. I feel very positive about the decision to use Dr Hodrick as my surgeon and Southern Joint Replacement Institute continues to impress with their efficient procedures and kind staff. I feel blessed and very grateful.

Over and over, for a year after surgery on my hip,I was told it could take a year to. Heal....well a year has gone by and I hurt more now than before the hip surgery. Forget this method! I can foresee the future when I will be using a walker,because I favor my right leg, and now that hurts too. BEWARE.

Dr. Hoderick's professional manner and skills inspire confidence. His explanations and clear and he is approachable for questions and additional information.

The staff was very friendly. Not long after I finished with X-rays, I was ushered into the patient roon and was seen by Dr. Hodrick quickly.

This is one of the best,if not the best, medical office I have ever entered. I received a preregistration packet by postal mail. When I arrived all the paperwork was done. There was no waiting time. The nursing and office staff were very patient and caring. The radiology tech was very careful in manipulating my hip in order to cause very little discomfort. Dr. Hodrick was very professional, answered all questions and discussed advantages and disadvantages of the proposed treatment, You cannot go wrong with this group

For those of you who cannot make the decision to have surgery - stop wasting time. It isn't as bad as you fear, and it will greatly improve your life. Dr. Hodrick and his team are outstanding, upbeat, encouraging and most of all have excellent skills.

Dr J. Hodrick has been my orthopedic doctor since 2011, when I had a left knee meniscus repair. In 2012, I had both knees replaced, with excellent results! Since then, I have had regular follow up visits and could not be more pleased with Dr. Hodrick and his wonderful, professional, and courteous staff. I highly recommend!
