I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Dr. Jeffrey O’Brien and his orthopedic team. Following an injury abroad, I struggled to find a local surgeon willing to take an emergency admission. Dr. O’Brien stepped up immediately, delivering a high-precision surgery that has set the stage for a perfect recovery. I also want to highlight the work of Dr. Katerina Mattern. She went above and beyond during my recovery, helping me with my ankle while also fixing a pre-existing knee issue and advising me on back treatment. Truly grateful! The coordination and level of care provided by this team are world-class. If you need a surgical and orthopedic team that is both technically brilliant and genuinely responsive to urgent needs, this is it.

I’m very disappointed and unhappy with how Dr. Obrien treated me. I was referred here from a workers comp hand and wrist injury and he barely talked to me for 30 seconds. As I was discussing my symptoms I offered to show him photos from the day of my injury and he just shrugged and shook his head no. The urgent care I went to previously recommended I need a cast for my injury and he completely dismissed that and said I’m good to go back to work. I felt rushed and like he made his mind up before I even got to speak.

Dr O’Brien operated on my elbow, did a great job. It was more complicated than first thought, he was continually checking on my progress. He took excellent care of me.

Trust me. Dr. O'Brien did a GREAT job on my tib-fib open fracture surgery! He diagnosed, operated & followed-up all in a timely, consice, thorough & superb manner of treatment! His surgical precision: fantastic! Answered my questions directly. He listens, doesn't beat around the bush or sugar-coat, & gets it done with quality! Along with time, he probably saved me $$. Thought this would be complicated, but he made it easier for me. And the SAME goes for his office staff & team. I highly recommend Dr. O'Brien & The Orthopedic Center!

Very quick scheduling much needed surgeries. Had to go back in to repair shoulder damage, first doctor did open surgery, and stated all following surgeries would have to be done the same way, Dr. O'Brien was able to do two follow up surgeries arthroscopically.

Dr. O'Brien performed surgery on my frozen shoulder approximately a year and a half ago. That procedure was completely successful and after physical therapy was complete, I regained approximately 98% of my range of motion. I was satisfied enough with the experience that I plan to return for pain that is now occurring in my other shoulder.

Two weeks after visiting this office I receive an additional bill for $75.00 from HealthFirst? When I was at the office I told them I was out of pocket when I paid, I was charged an $180 which I paid in full with my credit card. Now two weeks later I get a bill for more money. I call the office and I'm told that they made a mistake and I owe $75.00 additional. I explain I was told I was paid in full at the time and if they made a mistake they should pay for it not me. It's like going to a restaurant paying your bill, then two weeks later you get a bill from another company saying the restaurant made a mistake and now you owe more money??!!! I'm going around around with them now! I was told to call back in a week and take it up with the office manager, I WILL. In the meantime BEWARE of theses unfair billing practices , I'm going elsewhere, you can bet on that!!!
