Dr. Jeffrey Michael Teply, MD

Dr. Tepley has to be the worst doctor I have ever encountered. I was 23 weeks pregnant and was admitted to the hospital due to preeclampsia. Dr. Tepley discharged me 2 hours later (even though I had protein in my urine, high blood pressure and was retaining fluid). He did not keep me overnight, run a stress test, nor did a sonogram of the baby. Discharge instructions were to follow up with my doctor in 2 weeks. I didn’t make it two more weeks. Sadly, my blood pressure continued to get higher and higher, I went back to the hospital and I had to deliver my baby. She was born at 25 weeks and 0 days. She weighed 16 ounces at birth. She spent 6 months in the NICU and has cerebral palsy. Why was I treated so poorly? Dr. Tepley, why didn’t you do something when I was there the first time? Perhaps if you treated my high blood pressure then, I could have delivered a healthy baby.

Dr. Teply is probably the nicest, kindest, and most personable OB/GYN or doctor in general that I've ever been around. He's great with his patients,(and also great to his staff, which is really important, too) and takes time to talk to you about everything - as much time as YOU need. Plus, he's extremely intelligent and is constantly reading, learning, and keeping up on the changing face of medicine, especially OB/GYN. He is truly a woman's advocate in the complicated world we live in - unheard of these days in any kind of medical practice. His sense of humor is a plus and he's also extremely calm in the face of any kind of stress, which is SO nice when you're pregnant and worried about a lot of things. I always feel calmer when I talk to him, even if I've had the worst day ever. Highly recommended. There's no one out there like him - get you and your baby-to-be to see him ASAP.

His bedside manner is just unheard of in today's rush of things. I'd recommend him 100%. He made my husband and I both comfortable and at ease even though we had complications and our son was premature and rushed to the NICU. He takes the time to know his patients.
