Dr. Jennifer Janet Hall, MD

I have been seen by Dr. Hall for a few years now. She is great. I have never felt judged but actually listened to. Her nurse is also very helpful. She has helped me with many conditions including those that are not visible.

I was treated like an idiot my Dr. Hall and her nurses. When I explained my condition and how I felt Dr. Hall actually laughed at me. This practice made me feel awful I DO NOT recommend anyone going to it.

I have been a patient of Dr Hall for many years, and I have always appreciated the professional medical attention to whatever health matter had brought me to her office. She has always been thorough, attentive, and caring. Her recommendations were always right on target, and I was able to get better very soon. I also love the access I have to my records through the Patient Portal.

Dr. Hall comes across as very "compassionate", but in my opinion being attentive is not enough by itself. I believe that being a good doctor also requires an ability to consistently diagnose patients accurately and to also successfully treat their conditions, and it is in this respect that I think she fails as a doctor. Being wrong about a diagnoses does happen on occasion, even with seasoned professionals; but being wrong time and time again is not acceptable. It is a shame that doctors like her aren't monitored better and held to higher standards, it's understandable that most of her shortcomings and mistakes aren't recognized; when her toughest patient of the day is little Jimmy with his pesky ear infection. My concern is that when there comes time for her to treat a patient that's experiencing a less obvious but possibly more harmful condition, that there is a very slim chance they will get the help they need, Unless shes takes yet another leave day, and they luck up and DR McDade… or Dr. Moore.

My daughter and I have been a patient of Dr. Hall for a few years now. She always remembers us and treats us like her family. She is very up-to-date on medications and doesn't rush into unnecessary testing. She is very easy to talk to and always makes us feel comfortable. She is the first doctor in the Weaverville area that I have felt this way about.

Dr. Hall is extremely attentive and genuine every time I have visited her. She seriously makes me feel like I am the only patient she needs to see that day. I am a healthy person, so most every visit I have had has been for pretty routine "maintenance," but she still seems to remember who I am, makes sure that I have all my questions answered and stays sweet, casual and unhurried in conversation. I have NOT had lots of success in the Weaverville/Asheville area finding a personable doctor, so I figured it was time to give credit to one who is worth visiting!

Nurse stayed in room so Dr. Hall could talk to me rather than stare into her computer like other doctors Ive been to. Im a male and felt nervous about seeing a female doctor but I felt very comfortable and confident in Dr. Hall. I recommend Dr Hall to my friends and family.

Put me at ease immediately and yet was still professional.
