Dr. John Edward Castaldo, MD

Dr Castaldo is just the kindest physician you will ever know. My quality of life changed once he began treating me for my migraines. He is truly invested in his patients well being and overall health, not just the condition you schedule the appointment for.

After having seen nearly every other neurologist in The Villages and being disappointed , my husband and I were delighted to find Dr. Castaldo. His qualifications are exemplary but more importantly, he is an observant physician whose patient demeanor, extensive knowledge, and sincere concern for his patients makes him exceptional. My husband has had a series of strokes and had become so tired that he was napping fequently. Dr. Castaldo recommended a medication that has truly helped with my husband's fatigue. We have recommended him to many others who have all agreed that the quality of care Dr Castaldo offers is excellent.

I’m new to this area and was very concerned about finding a good neurologist since I suffered from a stroke at a young age and have migraines. I have been very pleased with the care I’ve received from Dr.Castaldo. He spends lots of time with me and answers all my questions and concerns with respect and compassion. I highly recommend him.

Dr Costaldo is very knowledgeable and proficient. He provides excellent care in a kind and caring manner. He is building a great Neuro program for The Villages.

He looks at your referral and makes up his mind about your diagnosis before even talking to you. Very unprofessional. Talks out of turn and is abrasive. I have a medical education and this guy has absolutely no time for you. My suggestion would be to stay as far away as possible. Had to go outside his practice for a second opinion and of course he missed an obvious disease that if he had picked up i would not have had to live with its debilitating effects all these years later. Disgusted!

Dr Castaldo was so very helpful to me after a very severe Traumatic Brain Injury, he was quick to identify my cognitive disorders + positional vertigo + lack of frontal brain lobe executive management deficits. Through early identification, therapy + Meds I was able to make incremental progress over time and am back to approx 90 percent of my functions! He is patient, sincere + extremely sensitive to patients. I am delighted with his interest + time he always allows in my examinations.

Great diagnostic skills, Considered and careful treatment at each follow up to determine if any changes in treatment are necessary, Good treatment recommendations, yet allows me to determine if and when I want to follow these recommendations. He gives me the information I need to make good decisions yet is respectful and understands that I can make the decision to follow or not follow certain recommendations. Great Physician, Good Man.
