Dr. John Joseph Wehrle, MD

Dr Wehrle sat facing his computer for our whole visit (my son and myself) had his back to me the whole time and did not look at my son sitting next to him when he answered his questions. Dr Wehrle is not knowledgeable at all regarding Lyme disease or interested in patients that are concerned about it. This visit was a frustrating waste of time, we will never go back to him. If there was a no star rating I would have used that.

Great doctor really good at what he does

Im not gunna waste any more time except to let everyone know, if you want a doctor that will listen to you, Do Not see wehrle!!!! Yup uh huh uh huh ok yup yup, that’s all he says. He does not listen to anyone and is only in it for the money, he schedule separate appointments for every little thing. Im in extreme pain and seeking a doctor if anyone has any suggestions?!?!?

Went as a new patient. 60 years old, beginning to see some signs of wear. First problem was he set appt to see me without bloodwork requested. Never had a doc do that before. Initial appt was thorough. He asked alot, went through alot. Then he sent me for bloodwork. Sugar was high, Cholesterol high and its been over 3 months and no request from his office to see me. Is his scheduling practice a money grab to get another appt post bloodwork? Cant say for sure but he lost this patient.

i've been seeing dr wehrle for years, i feel very confident with him, i never feel rushed or that my health problems are small, i highly recommend dr. wehrle.

I have been going to Dr.whirley for about 8 years and it seems like every time I go back he listens less and less you really need to yell at him to get him to listen .he just doesn't seem to care every time i tell him there's something wrong with me he blames it on my pills .I have called three times to find out the results of my blood tests and its been two weeks and he still hasn't called me back .I'm really done with him I'm going to start looking for a new doctor that actually tries to figure out what's wrong with you and will take five minutes to call you back

I am in the process now of finding a new doctor. Dr. Wehrle has been my primary care pysician for many many years, around 15 years or so. I have stuck with him because he is close and convienent and I love Kathy, his nurse assistant. But he is not very good at listening to my sugestions or helping with my problems and concerns. He has put me on all kinds of medications for depression since I was 14, I have tried prozac, lithium, buspar, serzone, wellbutrin, zoloft, effexor, xanax, just to name a few and none have worked. I sugested my problem isn't depression but maybe adhd since my struggles lie more in that area but he said, oh lets just put you back on effexor!!?? what? He has no problem perscribing me drugs that don't work with minimal knowledge of how they might affect me but when I give a sugestion he ignores me...I really don't think he even listens to my issues. I think he is very inpersonal and doesnt go by each patient as an individual. He has done blood tests for… thyroid probably 30 times. It is obviously NOT my thyroid but that is his answer to me every single time. "lets check your thyroid again"...AGAIN?! Give me a break. I am done with him, I am going to find someone who will treat me like an individual who is willing to actually solve my problems...it has been over 15 years of me suffering because he can't figure out what medications will work for me.

He was kind, caring, intelligent and took the time needed to complete the new patient exam. I am pleased with the staff, as well as the Dr. I found his bedside manner to be caring and detailed.

He does not know what is going on ever. He blames everything on the meds I take...even if there has been no change,evey ailment I have is because of my meds.That is the only answer I have gotten out of him for 5 yrs. He will send me to a specialist but I never follow up with him because he is going to tell me nothing. I have since changed Dr.s to someone who actually listens and has a solution.

Talked down to me and dismissed many of my medical concerns. Refused to let me review medical records until I pointed out #15 on the Patients Rights. He then told me I had to make an appointment to view them and have a staff member with me. I was limited to 10 minutes to view my records.
