Room for improvement if he works on listening and including patients in plan of care

Dr. Johnathan Bernard and his team are easy to work with. He listen to patient with empathy and provide right course of followup. I had a knee surgery for meniscus tear and the recovery is quick and as planned. I am happy with his treatment.

Dr. Bernard was very kind and patient during my son’s appointment for his broken arm. He took the time to bump elbows in greeting and answered all of our questions without making us feel rushed. The office was very clean as well and the staff was friendly.

I had been struggling with a shoulder injury for 8 years. I injured it in the military and they offered PT and cortisone injections. After retiring from the Army, I did my research and found Dr. Bernard. He listened to my history and my concerns/complaints, did some diagnostic imaging and offered me options to address/repair my injury. 2 weeks post surgery- my pain level never went above a 2 and I’m finally sleeping through the night without shoulder pain. I love Dr. Bernard’s bedside manner, empathetic demeanor, and thoroughness in understanding the problem and offering options to address the problem. So glad I found Dr. Bernard. 5 stars - highly recommend.

Dr. Johnathan Bernard and his surgical assistant, Brittany, have been the two most amazing people throughout my mom's journey from a broken ankle, through surgery, and then recovery and rehab. Mom was terrified of surgery, but Dr. Bernard's kindness, patience, confidence, and experience put her at ease. He was always reachable, and always held mom's hand when she needed it. Dr. Bernard and Brittany were excellent in their follow-ups with her, making sure the rehab was progressing on track - taking the time to explain everything that was going on, the changes she would feel, and giving realistic and reachable goals for stage of progress. We are blessed to have had Dr. Bernard perform this surgery.

Very poor service. Waited an hour and then was just referred to another doctor after a brief check and no xrays. Total waste of time.

He is excellent Doctor. He will explain all the choices which is available to the patient before treating patient.
