Within days of my breast cancer diagnosis I met Dr Jonathan Bank and immediately felt comfortable with my surgical plan. Dr Bank came highly recommended from many and I felt very comfortable with his explanation experience and plan. Dr. Bank and my breast surgeon performed a Double Mastectomy with a Diep flap reconstruction in just one month from me finding my lump. The experience of a breast cancer diagnosis followed by the choice of surgery and surgeons is very overwhelming and super fast. Within all the chaos I was blessed to find Dr Bank and so grateful to be healthy again. Dr Bank’s surgical skills way exceeded my expectations. I am so grateful for the cancer free figure I have now and shocked at the amount of sensation he preserved. I was sad to lose my breasts. They nursed my five babies for many years. Being told you have a Breast Cancer and also carry the BRCA2 mutation are words you “hear” but never want to hear “you have”. After all the treatments and surgery to remove the Cancer the next thing is “what is my body going to look like?” Being only 48 yrs old this is something you question. I met with Dr. Bank after being referred to him by my oncologist radiologist. After speaking to him on making one of the biggest decisions I had to make in my life, a double mastectomy with immediate DIEP Flap is what I decided to do. He put my mind at ease on how my body will look like after what cancer took from it! And boy or boy I am ready to pose for those bikini pics! The proof is in the pudding! My only question now is “what double mastectomy with DIEP Flap???? Thank you Dr. Bank!!

I underwent liposuction with the truly gifted Dr. Bank and it was perfect from beginning to end. As an expert in breast reconstruction, he's probably overqualified for lipo, but unlike other plastic surgeons I encountered before him in my research, he didn't behave like it's beneath him and made me feel heard and reassured. His bedside manners are impeccable, but most importantly, he has magic hands. He not only got rid of my belly fat and love handles, but managed to shape my body to look much better than my younger days. I'm extremely happy with the results and can't recommend him enough.

Dr. Bank is a master at his craft. From his office staff to the monthly visits with Dr. Bank, I left like I was home. He made me feel safe and secure in his expert hands. His sense of humor helped dispel my fears, worries and nervousness to repair my nose after a failed basal cell repair by another doctor. He worked tirelessly every month not only until I was satisfied with the result but he was too as he takes great pride in his work. Making the first call to schedule an appointment for my daughter's surgery was a very nerve wracking decision. Dr. Bank and the entire NYBRA staff have been professional, helpful, kind, and so wonderful to work with. it starts when you make that first phone call to the office…having a person answer the phone right away is so refreshing. It really makes a difference in the overall experience. I had an unbelievably great experience with Dr. Bank and could not feel more fortunate to have found him as my surgeon. I’m 35 years old, BRCA2+ and had a risk-reducing mastectomy and implant reconstruction with re-sensation about 10 weeks ago. I am extremely happy with my results - my reconstructed breasts feel great, are exactly the size I wanted them and look beautiful yet natural!! I traveled from out of town for this procedure (4 hour drive and stayed 2 weeks for follow ups after the procedure - in which Dr. Bank was extremely accommodating with scheduling).
