I just needed a Cortisone shot this time in my knee. Dr. Christi was excellent. He was concerned he cared and very kind and friendly and the shot was painless. He spoke to me a few minutes and was very helpful and informative. That whole practice has great physicians. Everybody’s very friendly. I know they’re very good in there so I feel confident and I would recommend them. Dr. Kristi has great reviews and I go back them up.

Over a year ago, I was feeling lots of hip pain (aged 73), especially while active: golf 3 days a week, Pickleball 3days. I visited Dr. Christy for an evaluation, and it was determined I needed a replacement of my right hip joint. At the time, there was an approximate 3 month wait, so I got on the schedule for late July, but asked to be put on the wait list for any earlier options. Literally the next day, I was called and told they had an opening for May 11, 2025. I had the operation on that day, and began my rehab/convalescence. Throughout, Dr. Christy and the team at Optim has been great. I got back into golf earlier than Pickleball (6 weeks and 11 weeks respectively), but am now fully back. Just this week I had my one year follow-up, and I can honestly say I have no residual pain or other misgivings. I would recommend Dr. Christy and Optim without reservation. Great professionalism, care and communication.

I was referred to Dr. Christy by my PCP and from my first consultation felt very comfortable. His pre surgery preparation of vitamins and exercises and post surgery of a computerized bike and physical therapy, I think, have led to a very successful outcome. His excellent staff and that of St. Joseph’s were amazing. I am now enjoying pain free walking.

Dr. Christy was extremely knowledgeable, professional and attentive. I left my appointment feeling heard and cared for. I would recommend Dr. Christy without hesitation.

Excellent great doctor

Dr. Christy is amazing. His pre surgery regimen was most helpful and led to a successful surgery and now on to recovery. I was totally prepared for each phase of my recovery and look forward to a continuing, complete recovery. His staff is great from Alicia to Jessica and everyone at ST. Joseph Candler. Hopefully I don’t need him again but I would not hesitate to have him as my surgeon again.

Very nice doctor. All of the staff are also very friendly. I arrived early and was seen before my appointment time, which is very rare. I usually have to wait a little while of most of the doctors I visit.

I was having pain in knee after a fall and I was referred to Dr. Christie. He was personable and very knowledgeable and took an X-ray and explained my condition. He gave us a brochure with info on knee surgeries. I felt comfortable knowing this compassionate physician does knee surgeries. He told me what to watch for range of motion and stuff. I could not have ever had such a wonderful doctor and I would give him a 10/10.

First time appointment for my mom. Experience was great. Dr. Christy bedside manners were superb. Very good listener and showed compassion for her concern with the pain she had been experiencing. I would recommend others to this practice and would use again if necessary.

Dr. Christy, is straight to point with 1st hand on experience. He took the time to read my medical records , x rays , and gives his best opinions about a patients situation. Thanks.
