He's the best, extremely caring, always there for our family

I had to look long and hard until I found a doctor who actually knew what he was doing when it came to Benzo withdrawal. I must have called 100 doctors and found most did not understand the serious nature of severe withdrawal. Dr. Reitman listened to my experience, my history, and my wishes. He helped me come up with a plan to slow my taper to a level that allowed me to stay at home with my children, yet have a back up plan in case withdrawal became too severe for me to stay at home. I love that he is willing to treat outpatient but has the ability to hospitalize me too if it gets too rough. He takes Cigna Behavioral Health for chemical dependency treatment. He is positive and supportive and knowledgeable. I do not know what he is like for other addiction issues, but I highly recommend him for BENZODIAZEPINE taper and withdrawal help. He really listens.

Coming from a family of medical professionals and seeing what it takes to make a great physician watching my old school father work who received the best internships and residencies and worked his life off, I know exactly what it takes to be a great physician because I witnessed it growing up and into adulthood. Dr. Jonathon Reitman is in a class by himself of being a great physician for his bedside manner, listening skills, thoroughness of treatment, skills and all around support of his patients. HE is the best Ive been too and I want all those who read this to know that also. He's engaging, has a sense of humor, is personable and treats you with dignity.

He is an excellent Internment Physician. I've seen many Doctors but byfar he is at the of my list. Great Dr. Highly recommended

The best doctor and receptionist ever

What a wonderful and patient Dr. He listens so well and never makes you feel like you've asked a stupid question. He is not quick to prescribe if that is your concern. He gives thorough time to your diagnosis and offers many options. Very kind and caring. I highly recommend him.

Dr Reitman is the WORST Dr I have ever had. I was given him by the hospital and not allowed to change dr after I realized I would not get proper care with him as my attending. Every patient he had received inferior treatment. Patients who had different drs (there were 8 on staff) all got mych better care. He doesn't listen, care of even know enough to give good medical care. His ego comes before the needs of any patient.

Dr Reitman has been helpful to me in my issues, however his office staff are incredibly rude, and condescending. To treat patients as if they are not important and stupid is unacceptable.

Dr. Reitman really cares. He is up-to-date, smart and compassionate, and he doesn't judge. It's taken me a long time to find a doctor I can trust and I am so glad I finally found Dr. Reitman!

Dr. Reitman was referred to me as a pain doctor. As I waited a long time in his office, I heard the patient before me asking the receptionist, "Is he in a good mood today?" I commented that this was not a very good recommendation (to say this in front of another patient); the guy said, "Well, he's helped me a lot!"Reitman told me I needed to have surgical opinions first, before he would tell me anything, and then, if he treated me, "it would be very expensive" (in his words). My opinion of him was frankly, "who does this arrogant a**hole think he is?" I had the consultations, and it turned out he was not able to do anything for me--and I was glad, because I would not have trusted him, at all. It seems he has helped a lot of people; maybe you will be lucky.
