Dr. Joseph Shelton, MD

Dr.Shelton will go over every detail for your colonoscopy.. He explains it very well.. The nurses & staff where very kind& sweet… The only problem I didn’t like was my appointment was at 9:00 I didn’t go back in the room till 11:00 when they called my name .. I wish they had told me to come later instead of sitten there for 2 waisted hours.. But the prosedure went real fast .. One minute your asleep and the next minute you hear the nurse calling your name to wake up .. I choose the pills to take instead of drinking that nasty stuff ????

Always very informative and extremely knowledgeable. Dr Shelton and his staff are welcoming and take the time to explain any questions that may arise.

Dr. Shelton is a highly knowledgeable doctor with a medical speciality in gastroenterology and very effectively communicates knowledge regarding this area of medicine to his patients. He is a caring doctor who enjoys working with patients, spends time with them, and even makes "after hour" telephone calls to provide them with the results of laboratory tests and other important information. I rate him as "Outstanding" and highly recommend him to anyone seeking the specialized skills/services of a gastroenterologist in Fort Worth.

He is an excellent listener and can think outside of the box (a rarity in TX). Compassionate. Go see this man if you are having abdominal problems.

Smart. Can think outside of the box. Loves a mystery. The doc to see when the others start shrugging their shoulders. Doesn't limit patient's time which accounts for the wait sometimes but who would want it any other way.
